Captain Steve's has good food. Although it's a seafood place I always get chicken tenders and fries. I think I did get perch one time. It's something about the way they season there tenders. They pile it up. So much food for a good two days. Even when you dine it the amount of food is crazy... In a good way. If you haven't tried Captain Steve's in Fort Mill, sc or Harrisburg, please do. You won't regret it. Never had a bad experience. It's best to get there when they first open or you will be waiting on a long line.

Scallops were very good. She crab soup tasted like canned soup. Jumbo shrimp were tasty. Salad looked very fresh. Flounder was mediocre. Everything else was slightly better than fast food.

The seafood is awesome? You can't go wrong no matter what you select on the menu. Food is cooked to perfection...I love the fried flounder & shrimp combo on the "select your own" choices. The prices are comparable and the portions are generous. I came for lunch and had enough leftovers for dinner. Oh yeah, hushpuppies are really good too! Great location with plenty of parking. Sometimes the seating can be a little cramped especially when your with a large party...I travel from Columbia, SC just to eat here @ Capt Steve's❤

Had the pleasure of sitting in Georgia’s section. Been enjoying Captain Steve’s since it opened in 1996.Family owned and operated and people have worked there for several years. The decor is sea food restaurant all the way! You get so much food that you have to pace yourself or will need a to-go box.Great place to dine-in or carry-out! I love the pick 3 with Jumbo Shrimp, Catfish Strips and Alaskan White Fish. Lots of other choices so if you’re bringing someone who doesn’t really eat fish, you have steak, chicken and salads etc. If you’re stopping in for lunch get ready to enjoy additional items to try.Definitely a place where you can bring the whole family and get an amazing experience!
This place used to be way too loud, but all that is fixed. Very busy, but you can hear the people at your table with ease. Great service and great food. Highly recommend!

Had not eaten at this restaurant for 7 months. Will not eat here again. The greeter/manager was rude and arrogant. The food had very little taste.......bland and slightly warm. The waitress was the only bright spot in this establishmentPrime time dinner hour and the restaurant was over half empty. Big difference from the last time I ate here. Someone could make a fortune by opening up an affordable sea food restaurant in this area.
