I took my wife and 2 kids here for the first time and I REGRET IT!My kids ordered pizza with fries from the kids menu and the pizza sauce was overwhelming, It was definitely too salty.My wife ordered a half of rack of baby back ribs, and they came undercooked, the bbq sauce was also a little salty.I ordered 12 pieces of chicken wings (grilled) and they came fried and hard as a rock. I ask for half honey Buffalo and half garlic parm and they were both strongly salty. VERY BAD!!!We finished off with a kids Sunday which was supposed to be vanilla ice cream topped with whipped cream and chocolate syrup, but the only served my daughter 2 smashed scoops of plain vanilla ice cream. The ice cream flavor was OK. And we also ordered the donut holes as our dessert and that was definitely the only thing that saved the night. Those were good!!!Other than that we will never go back to this place. It is located in a very fancy area, but I feel like they don't make the minimum effort to serve good food.

It's was my second visit. The first time, we sat outside. That was last spring around mid-April. We sat indoors this time it was evening and very chilly. When we went in, it was fairly crowded, but they had a seat for us. I thought it was excessively loud, but it is a sports bar, after all, and it's March madness. So take it in stride.We waited a little while before our server came by and took our drink order.When she returned the first thing, she told us they were out of two items, which caused two of us to make another selection. We both chose the ribs. We waited a little long for our orders to be brought out, and when they were both of the rib orders, we were hardly warm. My wife's salmon was the same. I broke my number one eating out belief that nothing sent back to the kitchen comes back better. We sent the ribs back. My wife ate her salmon. The ribs came back hot but very dry, and the kitchen knew they were dry because they sent extra BBQ sauce with them. My mistake! It won't happen again. Especially at this place.

We ordered take out after traveling all day. They forgot half our order so we had to go back. Dry rub wings were not good at all. Bartenders not in good mood. Overall poor experience and food.

Just left Carolina Ale House. We love the location so we keep coming back. It's good, then it's bad, then it's good. Well it's back to not so much. Out of every beer we tried to order, couldn't get wings plain or grilled. She said they only had rubbed. Supposed to be fresh chicken so how's that work? Didn't taste right. Ordered steak medium rare and it was well done. Didn't taste too bad but came with rice but menu said potatoes.

Ale use to be sooo good and has so much potential still. This place is sorely understaffed and disorganized. We came to have appetizers and drinks for st pattys day and ran into them telling us they were out of plates as well as silverware. It is disappointing because we know how great the atmosphere, food and time is when we have come in the past.

Went here last Wednesday. The cheese fries tasted like plastic cheese and the fries were over cooked. Not to mention there was so much cheese and not enough fries. We also got the spicy shrimp appetizer and they were gross. We had to send them back! Our 3rd time going here. 3 strikes and your out WILL NOT be coming back ever!

Let me start by saying I have always had a good experience here and the food has always been consistently good. The wait staff has always been attentive, friendly and knowledgeable. With that said I am giving this place 4 stars and really wanted to give it 3, but I can’t do it in good conscience. Take that sign you have up in your window when you walk in you know the one I am talking about. This is Fort Mill SC not Raleigh NC.

First time visiting and our food was decent our server Liz was outstanding the female manager stopped by and talked to us and we felt welcomed like we were at home best experience and will definitely be back again soon! Great way to end St patricks
I'm surprised at the reviews. We had tried the location in Raleigh and got burgers and they were very bleh. However, this location has been good to us. I've gotten the French dip a few times and it's HEAVENLY. My husband has gotten the steak a few times and he has loved it too. We have also gotten good service here. Tempted to give 5 stars.. but will give 4 due to our first burger experience + some beers being out of stock (on draft).
