The rice I got and the egg drop soup I got were soooo bland don’t eat here I’ll never again order here. The egg drop soup is like oil with egg whites in it. They offered to make me a new one. Heck no after what I received the first time. No word on a refund, just the guy at the front laughing and said sorry about that.

I usually get good food from here but today it was nasty and old looking. This review is because I barely had money and wanted to treat my kids to dinner. Very disappointed. The food wasn't even aten

I visited this place based on Dee N.'s review stating "If you are from New York like we are and looking for a good New York-style Chinese restaurant look no further…this is it!!!". I am from North Jersey and can tell you this is NOT IT. I ordered fried dumplings and sesame chicken. Dumplings were meh. Filling was not tasty and had too much cabbage. Sesame chicken was soggy and nothing special. Maybe Dee N. is from upstate NY???

Great food and friendly staff. We eat China East at least once a month and the food is always wonderful. The restaurant is low profile but word has spread b/c every time I pick up food , there are other customers there too.

We have taken out dinner on several occasions. It’s pretty tasty and generous amount of tofu and veggies in “hot & spicy tofu with mixed vegetables”.

If you are from New York like we are and looking for a good New York-style Chinese restaurant look no further…this is it!!! We moved to Charlotte, NC in 2005 and I’ve been searching high and low for a Chinese restaurant like the ones we’re used to and came upon this one by chance while getting breakfast at the Fort Mill Family Restaurant (diner) next door. After reading the menu we had a strong feeling this is one we’ve been looking for all this time. We went back to pick up dinner on another day and oh my gosh. Finally we found our go-to Chinese restaurant. Not to mention they are so nice and polite. They treat you with respect which is not what we’ve seen at all the other places we’ve found. They even sell food by the pint and quart. Most places here only offer one size and it’s large so your forced to by it whether you want it or not and pay an exuberant price for it. They also have ALL the appetizers I love including shrimp rolls which a lot of the other places don’t offer. My husband is soooo happy they make his favorite baby shrimp with chicken and broccoli which is so rare to find. It takes a little longer to get to but only about 15 minutes so we call the order in before we leave to go pick it up and it’s ready just when we get there piping hot. It’s so worth the trip. We love, love, love this place and are so glad we stumbled across it. ????
DO NOT EAT HERE !! My 10 year old son almost ate a maggot it was mixed in with his rice !!!!!

Have lunch here all the time. Love the sesame chicken. Sweet and sour chicken is also really good. Usually get crab rangoons with it and those are good too. Really like the lunch special with drink for free.

One of my favorite Chinese food places and it's right down the road from where I stay

I was pretty impressed with this place! The price was fair, the shrimp lo mein and egg rolls were fabulous. The crab Rangoon was tasty and reasonably priced but I believe they were closer to cheese wontonz than crab Rangoon (but I could be wrong). The food was made quickly and the staff was friendly. Great hole in the wall option for Chinese.
Love the
