Stopped in for lunch! Made sure that soda machine was functioning before I bought the cup. Started pouring my drink and all the diet drinks faded. Meaning you couldn’t use them. I asked the employees if they could fix it. The freestyle machine is my favorite. They had it up and running in minutes!!!! Best firehouse location EVER.

Update 7/3/25. Still the best firehouse location in Charlotte. Have eaten at this location for years. Due to good owners this location has a happy crew that provides consistent service. I usually go during late morning or early afternoon hours.

I pulled up to this store ten minutes before closing. I saw them cleaning up inside and wouldn’t have blamed them if they didn’t let me in. They served me and were extremely pleasant. The sandwich was somehow even better than it usually is. I greatly appreciated this staff.

Firehouse is a good sub restaurant. I usually get the hero and it is always consistently good. The only mild downside is the price it is a little pricey. If you were to compare it to a publix sub The public sub is a better value. That being said it's still a good place to go get a sub most of the subs here are hot steamed and have a good flavor. The cookies and brownies are also good.

We went inside and ordered to go. The order taker asked good questions to clarify our order. The food was prepared in a timely manner. We had time to get our drinks, sit a minute and away we went. This location has a steady business but not too busy to get annoyed with taking too long. You should check it out.
