We have eaten at the Fish Market 5 times in the last 6 months. The atmosphere is lovely. My husband loves their fish they serve and I love the salads they offer. As a non-drinker, the mocktails are delightful! The service is outstanding. A big shoutout to Joseph! He is the one you see all the time, doing everything from seating people, serving your meal, working behind the bar, assisting waitstaff, making sure things run smoothly. He made our last visit a very pleasant one.

Outstanding food, fantastic service, quality food made right, lots of choices on the menu from salads, to starters, to entrees. You pay for what you get and the Fish Market gives you high quality food, prepared the way that you want, in a professional manner. The community it attracts reflects the atmosphere that the fish market has created over the years and if you are looking for a warm, inviting place to meet friends for dinner, brunch, lunch or just a few drinks, this is it. Parking was easy, food was prepared perfectly, and we didn't have to wait for our reservations. We spent over 2.5 hours there and we could have stayed longer if they weren't starting to close.

The lobster mac & cheese was absolutely bland and extremely dry! I can't even believe whoever made it thought that it was good. There were literally 3 pieces of lobster in the entire bowl. If this is going to be the same, I wouldn't order it again. The Korean fried chicken wings and pan seared mahi mahi were decent, but the wings did NOT come with a choice of dipping sauce. For the total order to be $62, it was a disappointment and especially since I’ve had better orders previously.
Update— tonight, I decided to give Fish Market another try and ordered the brussel sprouts (the taste was OK) & jumbo limp crab cake; as you can clearly see— the crab cake was FAR FROM JUMBO.

I have worked multiple events (weddings and corporate events) as an Emcee/DJ for events at Fish Market. The catered food was always wonderful and staff..class act. Last night, my boyfriend and I had the night off for Valentine’s Day and booked a reservation to have the full dining experience for ourselves. This was his first time at Fish Market. The hostess and server were very accommodating and kind as we were sat early and menu options were thoughtfully explained. Each course was so flavorful.. from the She Crab soup and delicious fresh bread dipped in Tomato basil pesto to the surf and turf then coffee crem brûlée… Absolutely delicious and five stars to the chef. This is now a definite favorite for dining options in the Fort Mill area. Thank you for the perfect Valentine’s meal. We will be back!

This has to be one of the best restaurants we have been to since moving here in 2002. The service, specifically Gabby, was impeccable. The food was marvelous. We were there for Queen's Feast, Charlotte restaurant week, and we ordered off that menu. I had the salmon which was fabulous and my husband had the chicken pot pie which was really good. Of course, I didn't have much as he very sparingly gave me a taste! Bread pudding for dessert was awesome. Oops. Almost forgot the she crab soup. Wonderful. And the pum runch, yes you read that right, was to die for. We will definitely be back. So glad we went.

We had a great experience! The food was amazing and the service was perfect! Very kind and helpful! Will definitely be coming back!
Our party of 9 went to Fish Market to celebrate a wedding anniversary and we couldn't have chosen a better place. The restaurant was crowded, but not too noisy. It was rather comfortable. The Queen's Feast menu was perfect, and the food was delicious as usual. Fish Market is one of our favorite restaurants, and it did not disappoint. After the food, a wonderful part of our night was the person who took care of us, Cassondra. She was friendly, attentive, and consistent. Everyone at the table remarked that she was very good. I made sure to let her know in person what we thought, and she was grateful. We will surely be back again soon!
We went there to participate in the Queen's Feast event where restaurants offer a 3 course meal for a fixed price. Our experience was excellent. Delicious food and great service. We started off with freshly baked warm wheat bread and a sun dried tomato purée that was wonderful. I could have made a meal just out of the bread. First course. My wife had the curried mussels, which she liked but said she would have preferred my she crab soup. It was delicious. Second course. My wife had the snapper which she's still raving about this morning. I had the crab stuffed shrimp which was great. Third course. My wife got the key lime pie and I got the chocolate mousse. We took the desserts home because we were too stuffed. Our server, Munier, was attentive and friendly. The restaurant was definitely a happening place. The outside bar was hopping, there was a special event in the private dining room, and the restaurant was full. Reservations are recommended.
