We had a great experience! The food was amazing and the service was perfect! Very kind and helpful! Will definitely be coming back!
Our party of 9 went to Fish Market to celebrate a wedding anniversary and we couldn't have chosen a better place. The restaurant was crowded, but not too noisy. It was rather comfortable. The Queen's Feast menu was perfect, and the food was delicious as usual. Fish Market is one of our favorite restaurants, and it did not disappoint. After the food, a wonderful part of our night was the person who took care of us, Cassondra. She was friendly, attentive, and consistent. Everyone at the table remarked that she was very good. I made sure to let her know in person what we thought, and she was grateful. We will surely be back again soon!
We went there to participate in the Queen's Feast event where restaurants offer a 3 course meal for a fixed price. Our experience was excellent. Delicious food and great service. We started off with freshly baked warm wheat bread and a sun dried tomato purée that was wonderful. I could have made a meal just out of the bread. First course. My wife had the curried mussels, which she liked but said she would have preferred my she crab soup. It was delicious. Second course. My wife had the snapper which she's still raving about this morning. I had the crab stuffed shrimp which was great. Third course. My wife got the key lime pie and I got the chocolate mousse. We took the desserts home because we were too stuffed. Our server, Munier, was attentive and friendly. The restaurant was definitely a happening place. The outside bar was hopping, there was a special event in the private dining room, and the restaurant was full. Reservations are recommended.
The food was delicious! We tried the shrimp and grits, salmon, red snapper. They all were excellent.
We went for restaurant week and to celebrate a birthday. The place wasn't busy at all but we had to wait to be seated, then we waited over 20 minutes for drinks. My husband ordered a fish dish from the menu but they were apparently low on it and had to prep more so we had to wait for that. My fish was burned on the bottom but overall OK, his cajun fish had zero flavor. The table had a sign for drink specials that was very deceiving. We ordered a bottle thinking the 1/2 price wine Wednesday applied but it didnt and they were full price. We asked about it and the manager denied any kind of discount even with all the delays we had. The deserts were awful, the key lime pie had neon blue green sauce and was so sweet it was inedible. The chocolate mousse was the quality of boxed mousse with one slice of a strawberry on top. This is the second mediocre meal we've had here and the ambiance is lack luster. We wont be back. Our server was nice but unhelpful for any of the delays or miscommunication.
Came for Queen's Feast and it didn't disappoint! Many times restaurants make a cheap menu, but Fish Market did it up and was filling. Highly recommend the crab soup and stuffed shrimp. I wish I remembered the server's name. She was great!
We will always add Fish Market for lunch when we are nearby. Never been disappointed. Build one in South Charlotte.
Our birthday group enjoyed bang-bang shrimp appetizers, roasted beet salads, sausage-kale-white bean soup, fish&chips, buffalo shrimp wrap, chicken-bacon-ranch wrap & warm brownie à la mode. Food was delicious & Dawn provided exceptional service.
Underwhelming at best. I've been going to Fish Market for over 14 years, so why not celebrate my birthday there? Got there earlier than expected and was told we'd have to wait till closer to reservation time. They would text me once table ready. No problem at all. Sat at the bar with the most fantastic bartender. Ten minutes AFTER reservation time, went to check on our table to find out they forgot about it. We were promptly seated and server came over. Excellent customer service! Ordered beet salad, black and blue steak - medium, and scallops. Salad was on point. Husband's steak came out still mooing. We sent it back to cook a bit more. My scallops were perfect however the sweet potato and brussels were barely lukewarm. I didn't have the heart to send my plate back as well and ate what I could. When it was time for dessert, I mentioned my birthday reward and the server commented that she wished she knew we were there for an occasion. Sigh. Haven't decided yet if I'm going to return and give it another shot. Feel like I need to wait till I get over the disappointment of my birthday dinner first...
Our table had seared Mahi Mahi, Scallops, Shrimp and Grits, and seared Tuna; bread pudding and key lime pie for desserts. Not many crumbs left on the plates! Kayla was attentive and helpful in making choices. . . and knew her menu. Very enjoyable evening with friends. Seems all restaurants are getting more expensive, right? We miss Selina at the Five and Dine in Rock Hill, but always enjoy our short trip to Baxter.

Return visit. Food has always been consistent and delicious. Service again was great. Parking can be tough so give yourself time to find parking. They have a few outside dome seating for a party of 8.

We had a group of 50 women for lunch on 12/8.
We were prepaid with limited menu selection, beverage bar.
Staff was rude by table one. Inconsiderate to several women at my table. To the point that she ask them to be quiet.
I didnot
