Hanako Asian Sushi Bar

I had a terrible experience here. The service was slow and the staff seemed uninterested. We waited over 40 minutes for our food, and when it finally came, it was lukewarm. The waiter was unhelpful, and we had to ask multiple times for basic things like napkins. Overall, a very frustrating visit. Won’t be coming back.

My family and I ate at Hanako last night, and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience. We ordered miso and hot soups along with several rolls — spicy salmon, spicy tuna, volcano, dragon, and the Hanako roll. Everything tasted fresh and delicious.

Even though the restaurant was short-staffed, our food arrived on time, and the staff remained attentive. The bathrooms were also very clean, which I appreciate. The only drawback for me was that the lighting was a little dim.

Overall, Hanako serves the best sushi in the Indian Land area. When I’m craving sushi locally, this is my go-to spot!

My girlfriend and I started coming here about a year and a half ago, this has slowly turned into our favorite date night/ Asian night place in town. The food is fantastic, it’s extremely well priced and the service as well as the atmosphere is top notch. It’s a very homey spot to say the least. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful meal while still not breaking the bank!

The photos of the food sold at this establishment appear to look decent; however, everything that looks good unfortunately isn’t necessarily good for us. I have seen the back door of this establishment open every single day, along with seeing ingredients/food such as bags of onions lying in the back of their restaurant (with the door wide open). I just can’t imagine how many bugs/insects possibly get into their building with the door constantly open everyday. Not to mention how the employees may take breaks at the back of building (just hope they are following proper hand washing protocols when returning to the kitchen to prepare food because of course guests do not see that). So discouraging being that this could be a go-to sushi spot.

Pretty good Chinese food! Huge perk is that dinner comes with hot sour soup and good portions. Food is always hot, fresh, and very quick. Wish the general tso and sesame chicken were crispier, but overall pretty good. Also enjoyed the Chicken with Chinese Vegetables in white wine sauce, chicken and broccoli, house special fried rice, and Pad Thai. Really good variety of menu options for family meals.

There were no other diners when I got here. So I was started having second thoughts about eating here. But I ended up getting the shrimp tempura sushi and the maki rolls. Gotta say I'm really impressed by the taste and I did notice that there were alot of take outs which shows they serve good food. Definitely revisiting. They have great sushi at very affordable prices
