The staff here are excellent & customer service is just outstanding. Subs are a bit pricy--like $20 for an extra large sub seems outrageous--but I like the people and get treated well here. Whoever is managing this place deserves credit.

Not sure why on Earth you need to pre-order for this location. It's never ready when it's supposed to be. You might as well just order it when you get there. Very frustrating.

Every time we come to this Jersey Mike’s, the sandwiches are made to absolute perfection — fresh, consistent, and just the way we like them. Tonight, even right before closing, the team gave 100% like it was the middle of the day. Jackson was locked in on the grill, making everything come out just right as always, and TJ up front making everything else perfect and was super friendly and welcoming, taking the time to actually chat and made the experience great. They always make us feel like valued customers, not just another order at this location, learning all their names as well as their new hire Amber handling her stuff, love this place!

I’ve been a loyal customer at the Jersey Mike’s in Gold Hill for quite some time. The staff has always been friendly and welcoming, which is why I’ve continued coming back. However, during my recent visit, I noticed a change in the atmosphere due to some new front-of-house employees.

When I walked in, there were no smiles or greetings—just an overall unwelcoming vibe from most of the team, with the exception of one kind African American woman who was genuinely sweet. Unfortunately, the old woman and a shorter female employee came across as very rude, with an attitude from the moment we arrived.

I ordered a mini sub on rosemary bread, but the older employee started preparing a regular sub on white bread instead. She looked at me and said, “Regular, right?” I politely responded, “Oh, no—mini,” but she shot me a glare and said, “I’m not talking to you, I’m talking to him,” referring to my boyfriend. He confirmed that I had asked for a mini, and she turned back to me with another glare. Her demeanor was horrible from the beginning.

When we moved down the line, the next girl who handled the toppings rushed us through the process, even though there were no other customers in line. Her tone and attitude made the entire experience uncomfortable.

It’s disappointing because I used to look forward to visiting this location—it always felt warm and welcoming. Jersey Mike’s in Gold Hill is a popular spot with lots of foot traffic, and the customer service up front plays a huge role in the overall experience. I truly hope this feedback is taken into consideration, because no one wants to walk into a place where they’re met with hostility.

I ordered the Original Italian sub on rose Mary bread the Jersey Mike's way. This is my go-to place for delicious salads and subs. This establishment was very clean, friendly and convenient from the gym.

The 1st jersey mikes to want to charge me for a full sandwich even though I just wanted a roll! I appreciate the other franchises that take care or work with their customers! I said no thanks and walked out writing this review in the parking lot of your franchise. Bad customer service!

I just had one of the best customer service experiences in a long time, thanks to three outstanding employees at Jersey Mike’s. Samantha, Carmen and Jackson were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and truly went above and beyond to help me choose what to order—all with genuine smiles and a great attitude. It's rare these days to come across staff who are not only helpful but also seem to genuinely enjoy what they do. They made my visit feel personal and positive, and I left not only with a great sub but also a great impression. Kudos to the team—keep it up!
