We just had cocktails but our server Apryl was outstanding. She used the whole package. Do whatever you can to keep her

Came buy for lunch and the food was great. Really enjoyed sitting outside this time of year. Service seemed a little slow considering the lack of customers this early in the day.

Very pleasantly surprised. Some of these 1 stars are a little wild if you ask me. Have you eaten food in Charlotte? LOL. Anyways, onto my review. Our host was pleasant and greeted us within a few seconds of arriving and sat us. The bench was a little dirty but the table was clean. Our waitress was a sweetheart and took great care of us. She said the bisque was good so we got a cup of that and the toasted ravioli to start.Wow was the marinara delish!! WOW! The bisque was absolutely so good BUT it was cool for some reason, not sure if it was meant to be or not. Still we gobbled the whole thing up. It had aged shaved parm on top and it was just so good. For our mains, we got the french dip (delish!) which came with melty parmesan cheese on top of a soft roll and au jus. The salad was fresh and the homemade ranch was great. The serving sizes were large! I ended up taking my half of sandwich home and it was just as good the next day!My husband got the cast iron beef tenderloin with sun-dried tomato bacon jam (best part if you ask me). The parmesan green beans were covered in a creamy parmesan sauce- honestly, guys I would just do a light parmesan with this and some butter and/or salt and pepper, the 'loadedness' of the parm sauce for us was too much. the sweet potato corn hash was a little weird. I would have liked to have seen more 'hash-ness' as far as texture goes, but NOT bad, just different. The location is absolutely adorable. Ample off street parking just a stones throw away from where you are sitting and a beautiful patio area.Food service was a little slow. We were there late afternoon on Sunday and it took us a little over an hour BUT we didn't mind because its a very cute location and it's nice to just sit and enjoy each others company.Oh and our waitress made me a fresh pot of coffee. Like I said, very thoughtful and sweet. Will be back!

Terrible food, terrible service. My wife and I ordered the bayou pasta and ended up throwing it out and eating leftovers at home. The chicken tasted very freezer burnt, and so did the shrimp. Ruined the entire dish. When I went to pick up our to go order at least 4 employees walked by me before someone finally asked if I needed help. We will not be eating here again..

It’s a shame because our food was amazing. We were sat down quickly but then came a lot of waiting… 15 minutes to get a drink a 35 minute wait for food and an additional 40 minutes for a check. We weren’t even the only tables waiting. I noticed one table who was there before us waiting longer. The waitress definitely neglected tables because we come to realize she was too busy bartending and should have communicated and assigned her tables to others. The staff is very quick on their feet but seems to be more tasks focussed instead of customer focussed. I do appreciate the manager taking the time to sit down and apologize along with just being very receptive/understanding to my mom’s frustration. Overall the place is nice they keep it very clean, not slammed on a Friday which is a bonus, it’s very peaceful. The service just needs work

Great location in the middle of Baxter village but a lot more than just location. The initial reservation and sitting was great until after waiting for a while on a not so stable table with no silverware we were told there was a party downstairs so we were lucky to get any silverware. The menu needs to be revisited. I couldn't get the food I wanted on the menu and so I decided to get a replacement which was warm on the outside cold on the inside. I don't enjoy going out to restaurants that feels like they just brought a line chef from bergerking to cook. The spinach dip doesn't have spinach in it, don't get it. The calamari could be good if it's not too salty. This is my second time here and both times they've failed. I don't understand why people get mad when other people just come in to eat. You don't have to be angry at people for just trying to eat. The location is so good to see this place just waste it. The drinks were good though but I just remembered they just had to pour it. Anyway I wouldn't recommend.

Went for dinner, place did not appear busy. Server took our order and either forgot to place it in or there was a mixup with the kitchen. Noticed several tables who were seated after us started receiving their meals. We asked about our order after 30 minutes. We were told it would take 5 minutes, we walked out after 10.They offered no apologies, no attempt to make things right.Worst service I've seen in a long time.

Quaint place. Good was okay not seasoned well. The Black bean burger stack was good and a great portion. The spinach dip was too thick and the spinach was hard to find. It had a good flavor however.Parking: Plenty of parking available.

We ate there for the first time tonight. Everyone enjoyed their meal choices, Briana was a great server, and we have leftovers for tomorrow's lunch. We will definitely be back.

I went to check out this place this afternoon, as soon as I stepped foot in the bar area the bartender clearly seemed to act like I was bothering her. The customer service and staff were below standards. I tried to be patient but it was clear the staff has not been trained on the importance of customer service. I try to be patient and understanding, but this experience was very poor. I might go back in a few months to see if they can improve things.

Went in tonight with a group & the restaurant wasn’t busy at all. The service was absolutely horrible and the server was incredibly rude. She was also the bartender. I would understand if they were busy, but they weren’t. And the attitude was unnecessary. Won’t be back.
