Do not let the outside fool you!!! When you go inside the restaurant is beautiful and food was delicious.

This is our first time at Panchito's and what a treat! My husband had chicken fundido, I had the chicken soup with extra avocado (which they presented it to me in the form of a flower!), and the salsas were amazing, specially the hot one; I even asked what was left to go. Sofia's customer service was excellent. Thank you for making us feel welcome.

I stumbled upon this incredible Mexican restaurant inside the Clarion hotel, and it completely exceeded my expectations. Unlike typical hotel dining spots, this place is a **full-fledged** restaurant with an expansive layout, a **full bar**, and an inviting atmosphere.

The food? **Absolutely phenomenal!** The portions are so **exaggeratedly huge** that you’ll have plenty to take home—but trust me, you’ll want to finish every bite. The menu boasts a wide range of selections that rival any dedicated Mexican eatery, with bold flavors, fresh ingredients, and top-tier presentation.

Service was warm and attentive, making the entire experience even more enjoyable. Whether you're craving classic favorites or exploring something new, this spot **competes with the best**. If you’re nearby, don’t let its hotel location fool you—this place is the real deal!

Bad experience, had to wait 20-25 minutes just for our waitress to grab our drink orders. She gave me my alcoholic drink in a plastic cup then said she would be right back to grab our food order. Ended up taking 20 extra minutes. To actually get our food it took 40-45 minutes and we watched her check on other tables and she didn’t come up to us once. My sister came in about 30 minutes after us and sat at a different table and got her food 10 minutes before ours. When we finally got our food we just asked for boxes and the check and left. I didn’t even have silverware. Safe to say we will not be back.

What a great place. Don’t judge a book by its cover. Don’t let the surrounding hotel scare you away. Drive around back, go inside and have a great meal. I loved my chimmy!

I will say it’s a beautiful restaurant on the inside
But service is absolutely slow I had to wait 30 minutes on them to ask what drinks then another 20 for them to come back with the drinks.

As far as alcoholic beverages goes
You’ll pay 10$ for a White Russian for it
To not be a White Russian and it’s basically being a shot.

I normally don’t leave a bad rating unless the restaurant is just super bad

If you’re coming here for drinks id suggest going else where
The food portion was fairly good
But the food itself wasn’t that great.
But if you’re coming here for Mexican music and a pretty restaurant then by all means!

Food was very bland. The waiters were into attentive. They weren’t really to accommodate your request for example. I asked for taquitos instead of ground beef. I wanted grilled steak and they couldn’t accommodate that I’ve gotten so many Mexican places and they will work that out overall the experience was OK But I know I would not be returning. I’m surprised they have high stars ratings.

Seems like there's never anyone here but it's not a bad spot to grab a taco and a beer. Prices are reasonable and the staff is very friendly.

Oh my, once you get over the truck with no tires propped up on bricks in the lot, and old truck body parts, the suspect location, you'll enter a cozy spot. Yet what they did to my wings was unforgivable, overcooked in old grease. All else was average but I think there are other less suspect locations to get good Mexican food near Carowinds

Great little gem of a place, love the salsa options with the chips, my wife loved the fried fish, and my Al pastor quesadilla was delicious. Maybe a little heavy on the ice in the margaritas, but can't complain for the price, and they did hit.

So so good!!! Will be coming back

Surrounding area looks crazy af! It’s at the back of a half closed hotel. Mattresses and debris surround the building. Despite that the food nd service was good. Inside much better than the outside
