Service is very slow. Sunday morning. Only one other table . There was eight employees just standing around talking. I don’t know how much longer this place will be open ! Food under the tables (DIRTY) !! It had to be food left over from Saturday that was never cleaned because we were there at 7:30am.. if you have time to lean, you have time to clean, but they were more interested in just talking.

This restaurant has the best savory oatmeal I've ever had! The owner is personable and passionate and cares deeply for the business and his employees. I am very impressed with this restaurant! I highly recommend!

A bit out of the way, but definitely worth the trip. The food was really well done and nicely presented, and the coffee was solid and enjoyable. It’s the kind of place that feels intentional and relaxed. A good spot to slow down and enjoy a quality meal and cup of coffee.

My wife and I have been coming to Poppyseed Kitchen for 2-3 years now and man do I love this place. The food and coffee is always outstanding - our go-to is the Poppy Pancake and Ranch Hash to scratch the sweet and savory itch. Beyond the food you can tell everyone on staff has a sense of pride in what they are doing. Just this past weekend I ordered takeout and even in the 2.5 minutes I was at the counter I felt cared for; to me, this is how you know this is a fantastic restaurant that prioritizes both food and experience. Our toddler boys love the games and toys that are set out too! Pro tip for families - get take out and go to one of the nearby playgrounds or parks.

Great customer service and one of the best dining experiences we have had in some time. The staff was friendly and the food was great with good portions. Kid approved as well.

The food was yummy and our service phenomenal. The restaurant was busy so it was a little noisy. Pricing was fair. I ate half of a turkey/bacon sandwich on sour dough bread w/fruit. I bought a coffee toffee cookie and an almond poppy muffin. I took half of the sandwich home with both desserts. My husband ate the rest of the sandwich and the cookie. He loves sweets. He thought the cookie was dry and had lots of coffee flavor, no toffee. I am looking forward to going back for breakfast soon to try a breakfast option.

Poppyseed Kitchen is such a cute and cozy place to eat! Our server, Haleigh, made sure we felt comfortable and satisfied with our food. We let them know that we’re Deaf customers, and she knew a few signs which made our visit even more pleasant and welcoming! They even brought out a Deaf employee to meet us, which was such a thoughtful and cool gesture.

I ordered the grits with shrimp, and my boyfriend had the ranch hash, both dishes were absolutely delicious! My matcha latte was made to perfection, smooth and balanced just the way I like it.

Before we left, we couldn’t resist grabbing a pumpkin cheesecake danish and an apple pie croissant to enjoy later; can’t wait to dig into those!

Overall, it was a wonderful experience with great food, warm service, and a welcoming atmosphere for the Deaf community. Highly recommend checking them out! 💚🤟🏻
