Absolutely love Spoons but getting super disappointed in the service. We are now being charged to substitute spreads and the last two bowls I paid to have the spread substituted on didn’t even have the topping on it at all including the one today smh.

Those bowls have too much sugar. And could send someone to the hospital.

I Was taking a walk and saw a spoons food trailer….. It was so hot out. I took a walk over and l met these two Beautiful young ladies, Baxley and Maria , … they explained the fruit bowls that they were selling, and this is my first review because the fruit bowls were amazing .. so refreshing totally hit the spot! The best part of my experience was meeting these two young ladies I left with a smile on my face. I know it’s only a five star review but these girls get a 10 from t from me

This is our go to açaí place. The ingredients are always fresh and the service fast. However the prices have increased and the portions are disappointing. Spent $14 on two kids cups to have barely any acai.

Although I love the bowls themselves and have been a few times to this Fort Mill location, each time I have left disappointed and frustrated. The wait time is always long, usually about 10 minutes for a bowl - sometimes worse if there are multiple teenagers working at the same time as they seem to talk and get really distracted.

My bigger concern is the lack of attention to detail. I’m highly allergic to all nuts, so every time I go I always ask for no granola and express the allergy. And without fail, every time I get my bowl it has granola on it. It’s then remade and I have to wait longer. Today was the same. A very long wait and by the time I received the bowl it was again covered in granola. I couldn’t wait for it to be remade and so just ended up giving it to my kids instead.

Not somewhere I will return again, despite many chances.

This was the second time my son and I visit Spoons. The first time the Heart Throbs we ordered were okay more on the liquid side but it was still good. We decided to try again in hopes that we went on a good day however my son found a leaf in his Heart Throb bowl. The environment itself is clean and friendly, they just have to be more careful when preparing orders.

Bad service, we always come to this place and we love how much they always serve, but this time they gave us half of what they usually serve and for the price I don’t think is worth it.

Fruit is delicious even though I was expecting a building, but the van is cool! The ladies were great! Love this place! Conveniently located right off exit. I have been back already! Addicted to the blue dust!

Fantastic healthy acai bowls and great service! My kids absolutely love it as well. Park in the stone parking lot on the side of the Spoons truck and you can sit on the picnic benches out front if you want to enjoy the sunshine.

I enjoy a refreshing treat/meal, and the convenience of the site being near to me, but one thing that I do not like is to order the same thing every single time but get different product. On a 50 degree day, I shouldn't have a bowl of soup. The ratios are not consistent nor is the preparation. The customer service is not the issue. Everyone is very nice and polite. I stumbled on SPOONS in Charlotte in the COTSWOLD area years ago and been hook ever since. That site was consistent. The site off South Blvd is consistent with the product, but the Fort Mill site is a gamble. Peanut butter is a blob in the corner of the bowl, no honey somedays, acai seems to be in liquid form. I always get the DJ Queen B and its like I might need to start just making it at home due to missing items also. My sons love SPOONS. If they would improved preparation and presentation I would continue coming to the FM site instead on going to South Blvd to the other site.
I wish I took a picture of the 3 bowls I ordered. My boys even said its a soup bowl and missing stuff.

Let me start off by saying that Spoons is one of my favorite places to get an açaí bowl! I often find myself stopping by at least three times a week. However, I’ve noticed a significant difference in quality at the Ft. Mill, SC location, especially on weekends.

During weekday mornings, the young lady who’s usually there does a fantastic job—she balances the ingredients well, follows special instructions carefully, and ensures that the fruit is fresh. I’ve never had an issue with overly ripe fruit or unwanted ingredients during the weekdays.

Unfortunately, weekends are a different story. The presentation is inconsistent, portions are unbalanced, and I’ve received ingredients I didn’t ask for. It’s clear that the level of attention to detail on the weekends isn’t the same as during the week.

My first Spoons experience was at the Southend location in Charlotte, NC, where the bowls were always beautifully prepared and well-portioned, so that set a standard for me. I continue going to the Ft. Mill location because it’s more convenient, and the quality is great on weekdays—but the weekend crew definitely needs better guidance in preparation and consistency.

I hope management can address this, as Spoons is truly a great spot when done right!
