I wish I had gotten her name, but a sweet, beautiful black woman in her twenties maybe, she had braids was at the window yesterday. And her customer service was AMAZING. She was so engaging and kind with our children. She is just a GEM of an employee. ❤️

The quality of the food and beverages was great but was ruined by the customer services provided by an older lady with dark brown hair named Terry. She made it feel very unwelcoming. I came in set my things down because I was going to be there for a while as I was going to be waiting there for a ride. In the mean time I was looking at the menu for breakfast while she rudely raised her voice at me from across the room from behind the register asking if I was going to order anything which was quite embarrassing so I rushed to order. I had the intention to order drinks and snacks for myself and my ride so I did and when I did that I picked up my mobile order and she pulled my bag back from me like it wasn’t mine and I told her I was missing a drink and watched her make the second one and she did not add all the ingredients as listed. She was very rude and disrespectful. I will never be returning to this location again.

Being that the Starbucks is across the street from Carowinds amusement park I have come many many times over the years. I find this to be a nice reliable Starbucks. I have never seen it too busy which is nice. The staff is friendly and the drinks are accurate and usually come out pretty quickly. On this particular visit, I ordered a iced pumpkin cream chai latte. The order came out quick and was accurate. This is a good Starbucks location. Also there is another location within half a mile that is actually inside Carowinds, but this is a better location since it is cheaper overall.

Employees here are nice but I always have to order ice coffee without ice because it’s always too much ice and it tastes like watered down instant coffee. I tried ordering “light ice” today and this is what I got. Loaded with ice and tasted awful.

To the employee who put a smiley face on my cup today- you don’t know how much I needed that little boost of positivity. Your small act of kindness brought a smile to my face on a hard day. I’ve never had anything like that on my cups in the years of going here. While I’m here writing this review, I want to add that I only go to this Starbucks. I drive further than the one closest to my home cause this location is top tier and gets the drinks perfect every time. Yall have an impressive team.

I purchase a Caramel macchiato EVERY morning with extra shots...some days it's great and I can taste the espresso...some days it just tastes like watered down hot cocoa...for the price it should be more consistent
