Sweet Dough

I'm not really sure what to say. They closed an hour early now. They may have closed earlier than that, but they just didn't put anything up. When I walked up at eleven fifteen, the door was locked with no sign of anybody and the sign says they close at twelve. and they said on the internet that they had a halloween special on donuts. So I figured you know, since they're not open later in the day, that they are aware of the holiday and would be open. So I don't know. I've been here before and like the people, and the food was pretty good. And I was gonna give them a chance and eat a breakfast burrito. While I was writing the review, three other people came up trying to buy donuts

Nice little shop. The donuts were good but definitely on the overly sweetened side. Tried a few different ones. Couldn't finish the oreo one as it was just too much! They were on par with what you'd get at Harris Teeter or Publix bakery in my opinion.

Appears to be family owned and it shows. The staff is friendly and efficient and these are probably the best doughnuts ever.😀🤤 Whenever the grandkids stay they always ask for sweet dough. Happy to drive the 30 mins to get homemade doughnuts. They even filled one for us while we waited. Now, that is the definition of fresh!!!

Came here twice, first time went well as there were choices. Second time going only basic donuts available. If you go, go when they open for their best selection.

I visit Sweet Dough every time I’m in Fort Mill visiting family. This last trip, I had the pleasure of speaking with the guy in the kitchen about their amazing breakfast offerings. I already knew that their doughnuts are fantastic. At his recommendation I tried the biscuits and gravy. Wow, it was superb. Next trip, I will definitely be back. All of the staff are friendly, welcoming, and so helpful. I would 1000% recommend this gem to anyone near the Fort Mill area.
