I really enjoyed myself at The Royal Cigar Bar & Bistro. We arrived just as they opened on a Saturday, and the owner and staff gave us the Royal treatment! This is a black owned and family operated business located just 5 minutes from Carowinds. This is a membership only lounge offering a carefully selected variety of cigars that are properly stored to maintain for freshness. They did have a decent menu selection of sandwiches and wings, and the drinks were great. Overall, I had a great time. If you are interested, I would definitely suggest the membership. It's definitely worth the value!

Great hangout spot for food, beverages and cigars. DJ every Friday. Smoked Old Fashions are nice cocktails. One of the best old fashions in the area. Great seating. Smoke a cigar without be in a cloud of smoke. Good ventilation.

How unfortunate that an establishment where people of color gather will steal from new patrons at the door. Imagine having someone who Ron Ford apparently trust at the door to gain entrance through cash app only to be charged 400.00 for 2 people-and to make matters worse it appears Ron Ford will not return the money entrusted to him where a cash request was sent. Stealing from your patrons is a tragic thing to do. And now I have to file a police report and go through the entire process to level the establishment up to being honest. Stealing from your own people is shameful -

I came randomly today and it was the best decision I made. The owners were knowledgeable and passionate about their business and made me feel like home. I literally was the only person in there for a few hours and I enjoyed every peaceful minute of it. I will be retuning and getting a membership. Thank you for the amazing service!
