DON'T DO IT! If you want to enjoy yourself, go elsewhere!My wife and I went to the Towne Tavern on the evening of 03/28/24. It was a nice sunny day so we chose to sit outside because it is just too noisy inside. Shortly after we sat down another couple showed up and sat down with a dog, and this dog was barking constantly. It just would not stop. We are both animal lovers, but this was an ear piecing bark over and over and over. My first thought was how rude it was of them to put others through this, but when the staff came out, they did nothing, they just didn't care.Next, our food arrived.... Now let me preface this by saying that in the past year, all restaurants have gotten very chincy in how much food they serve, but when I looked at my platter and saw the tiny little paper cup of coleslaw, I was insulted to think they would even attempt to serve me what is not even a tablespoon of coleslaw, not to mention the small amount of fries. Normally I would just take a mental note of this and ignore it, but this was just ridiculous. I asked to see the manager. The manager arrived at our table and went on to tell us they were out of coleslaw, and he had told the kitchen staff that no one would want that little cup of slaw and that they should not serve it, but they did it anyways. I said okay, well, if that’s the case just give me some extra fries or something. He went on to explain to me that the coleslaw is just a “garnish” and because of that, he cannot substitute it for anything else. Really a garnish? In all my life I have never heard of coleslaw being a garnish.Clearly this restaurant doesn't care if their customers have an enjoyable experience. If you are thinking about going here, I would seriously give that another thought, this is not our first bad experience here, the place is noisy and the staff here are awful. Personally, that was the last straw for me. I will never give them my business again! But no worries they don't care anyways!

The second time I have been here. First time was very lovely and waitress was nice. Came back for the second time and had the worst waiter in all of existence to be honest. He was rude, mean, and just unprofessional with his attitude. Sorry if he had a bad day, but he doesn’t need to present his awful attitude to his costumers. What a shame.

I've been four times and have just had a bad experience. My visits have been during the week for dinner. Maybe the weekend is better.
Meet a friend to watch the college basketball game. The wings were great!!! The servers did a great job checking in!!! Will eat here several more times.
I am from the St. Louis area. We had snacks there, while we watched the Chiefs win. I want to express how warm and friendly the wait staff were. Service was great. Snacks were wonderful. But, the chicken tenders were phenomenal. I bit into my first one and WOW, BEST TENDERS I have tasted.

Service fantastic and atmosphere is great. Food very well prepared but the burgers are not high quality meat nor are they fresh. The buns, lettuce, tomatoes and fries are perfect but it looks like they use frozen patties. A shame because i would frequent this spot if they got the protein right. Please switch to a handmade patty or a fresh hamburger patty. Maybe the manager can comment.

The food is great the staff are nice it was a little crowded not too crowded we got a seat fast and 100% recommend.
