Stopped at JDs Place for lunch after canoeing with Carolina Outdoor Adventures in Congaree National Park… you should definitely ignore the outside look of the place… ample seating inside and both the food and the service were amazing! I would recommend JDs place to anyone… delicious food in family atmosphere.
Iris makes the best fried chicken and pork chops! We ate here on the way to Congaree National Park. Don’t let the looks of the place fool you. It is a warm and welcoming dive that is full of local hospitality.
My grandchildren and I went here after our kayaking trip through Congaree National Park and this was the closest place to grab a bite! And we had a wonderful time with great food and great staff! Would recommend the Gadsden Burger! It’s a bite of delight!
