Bronco Mexican Restaurant

I’ve been coming to this place for a long time and have always appreciated the food and the service—especially when Hector was around. But after our most recent visit, I’m not sure we’ll ever be back unless something is made right.

We called in our usual order and asked for the same 4 bags of chips we always get with our 2 cheese dips togo. Hector has always taken care of us with those, but this time a young girl at the counter insisted we had to pay for them. Fine, no problem—we paid without arguing.

But when we arrived, the order was completely wrong. We brought it back in to have it corrected, only to be met with the worst attitude imaginable. Not only was the staff rude and dismissive, but this same young girl told us—in an extremely unprofessional tone—to never mention Hector’s name again, even though we know him personally.

They made it clear this would be the only time they would “fix” our order, and then didn’t even do that correctly. One of the dishes, the chipotle chicken, was missing the chipotle sauce entirely. So even after all the attitude, we still didn’t get what we paid for.

We’ve always supported this place and recommended it to friends, but after this experience, we’re done—at least until this is addressed properly. Disrespecting loyal customers and mishandling orders isn’t just bad service—it’s unacceptable.

Tried to place a pick up order & I was told to hold.. I said sure , I was on the line for almost 10 mins (hearing her take care of other people) I wait and wait and then finally say “Hello?” only to be put on a hard hold so I no longer can hear what she is doing, then I was hung up on. When I called back it said user busy.. k we ordered papa John’s instead cause I refuse to give rude people our money.. plenty of other Mexican restaurants around, just a shame cause this one does have great food but at the end of the day I am a human being not just a number and this restaurant only sees numbers.. I have no issue driving back to our previous favorite restaurant los Mexicanos in Spartanburg.. we only switched when we tried Broncos near us and liked them too since we live closer but no worries we will drive a town over and give Los Mexicanos our business again.

Great atmosphere great customer service Great food-friendly staff. One of my favorite Mexican restaurants. Broncos is very clean as well. If you haven't tried yet and you are in Gaffney SC give them a try you won't regret it.

60-minute wait time for takeout with small portions stuffed in small containers. I watched people come in, get sat, order, and get food before my order came out. Other people came in and ordered, got food, and left before I got my order. There were many people waiting for food with me. Unfortunately the food was very dry when we got to try it. Definitely not a great experience at all. We've been here several times and this was, by far, the poorest experience.

It's always a great experience at Bronco's! The service was great, as were the interactions with the servers. My family left with smiles all around!

Wheelchair accessibility: Easy entrance for wheelchair use. Most tables are easily accommodating. Walkways are spacious through most of the restaurant.

Service was slow, and the waitress would forget items when asked. The food was good.

Pretty standard look, family oriented.
Food is excellent salsa has left to be desired.
Staff is quite nice and attentive. It seems family owned.

Vegetarian options: Very little options and options are just slight variations

This is the best restaurant ever!!!! I love their food ❤️ the people are friendly and out waiter was the best waiter we've ever had. The staff is very friendly. If you're ever in Gaffney this is most definitely a place you need to try.
