Shenan was the BEST waitress. She was so personable and attentive. The food was delicious as well. We waited about 30 minutes and it was well worth it. It was our first time here and we will be back!

This is a heart breaking review. Carolina Cafe is my favorite place to eat and tonight was heartbreaking. We got there around 7:50, service was low quality. Our waitress had no idea where she was and not with it. My fish and stuff must have been sitting back there for a while, it was along with the shrimp and cheese grits. Other family members stuff was warm. When I made a statement it was cold, she should have taken it back without delay. I really tell people about Carolina Cafe, with this new low quality control and understanding customer statements I don’t know if I’ll ever return.

My wife ordered the medallions. I ordered the Filet. Outstanding…. Our server, Carlee made our first time a totally great experience.. we will definitely be back… Good parking.

Had shrimp and flounder .the flounder was so thin...no.meat on it..tasted like cardboard . The shrimp were good. Got 4..suppose to get 5. Paid extra for a delicious salad. Pass on the vegetables.

We have came to Carolina Cafe a couple times and it hasn't disappointed at all. Great food and service. Definitely recommend this restaurant.

We have eaten at Carolina Cafe quite a few times and had nothing but praise until yesterday evening (10-01-25). My wife ordered a filet medium and I ordered a rib eye rare. When the steaks arrived mine was just right but my wife's was well done. The server said she would get the chef to cook another one. When it arrived it was almost burnt. The server said the regular cook was off on Wednesday and this cook was not all that good. They took my wife's steak off the bill but she still went home with only a baked potato and salad for dinner. Our server was great . She did everything she could do to help us but the cook(I can't call him a chef) was terrible. Any chef worth his salt would have come out to our table after the 2nd steak was refused. They did give us two overcooked filets to take home for our dogs. We will go back , but not on Wednesdays. Many,many thanks to our server Shenan. She went above and beyond to help us. Still a great place to eat but don't order a filet on Wednesday.

Be careful of what you order here. You might get lucky and get something you like, but you can tell they cut corners a lot on preparing food instead of focusing on the quality of it, so some of it is not good. Some items when they bring it out to you, looks like something your child put together at home and is not that good. For instance, the shrimp and grits is a joke. We will miss the Hershey bar ice cream dessert, but this is why we are not interested in going back again.
