Best bourbon chicken on the east coast hands down! Love to go there every time I travel from Charlotte to Gaffney or Greenville. I always get the bourbon chicken with bourbon sauce on the rice. Wow!

This place is in the food court at the Gaffney outlet mall. To be honest, it was the ONLY restaurant open today inside the food court.. And they were doing business! The staff was friendly. The food was delicious AND hot! I ordered the sesame chicken and sweet and sour chicken combination with lomein noodles and a spring roll on the side. While there, I overheard other patrons catching up with the staff, which makes me believe they are regulars-that's always a good sign! I definitely recommend this restaurant if you're in the mood for Chinese food or need something quick.

I really love this spot! The owner’s super nice and treats you like an old friend. The portions are huge and the food is unbeatable. Whenever I’m driving on I‑85 between Charlotte and Greenville, I make sure to stop here. Honestly, the best food ever!

Hands down the best Chinese food I’ve ever had from a takeout type of spot. The owner is always super friendly and really cares for his customers. He is very serious about the quality and freshness of food. I’ve never had a bad meal from here no matter what time of day I come in. There’s usually a line you have to wait in and the wait is worth it! The portions are huge and I usually get two or three meals out of it. I recommend the mushroom chicken if you like a little spice. Locals come to the mall just to get food from here. Don’t spend $10 at McDonald’s for mediocre food, spend your $10 with a small business with a fantastic owner.
Also, saw a sign there today mentioning they have matcha powder (the really good stuff) for sale if that’s your thing.

China Max is awesome! The food is always fresh and the portion sizes are more than I can eat. I love getting the bourbon sauce on my lo mein and if you like a little bit of spice, try the black pepper chicken. It is freshly made when you order it and fabulous! This is the only restaurant that has ever made it in the food court at the Yellow mall. It is because the food is great and the guy that runs the place is one of the nicest people you’ll ever meet. He always remembers me every time I go in there and even knows what my orders are going to be. Don’t let the line intimidate you. There is always a line because it is great and worth the wait.

If you want local Chinese food with good friendly people, this is the place to go. They are always so warm and welcoming. They always give you more for the money you spend. You could literally stuff your face at lunch and diner for just 10 bucks with 1 plate. This place is awesome.
