Certainly good to see Uncle Herschel still on the sign. The Gaffney store was the way I truly enjoy, and I hope it never changes. The Cracker Barrel I have grown to love and appreciate.

We went the other night and the food was off. My wife and me ordered chicken and dumplings and it was so bad we couldn’t eat it. It was boiled chicken and dumplings but without the white sauce it normally has, it was just the chicken and dumplings and chicken broth. It was yellow and pure salt. We asked the waitress about it and she got the manager. The manager went and checked it and came back and said they made it wrong. She said to pick out something else. My wife got grilled chicken fingers and I got meatloaf. When the bill came out they billed for the new stuff which was more than the original chicken and dumplings. I paid the bill but if I was the manager I wouldn’t have charged more for the replacement plate. I wouldn’t recommend coming here.
