So I’m from Texas and wanted BBQ. First of all, let’s just say they didn’t have brisket. What bbq place doesn’t have brisket? Second I got ribs pulled pork and sausage. None of which had smoke flavor. In fact the sausage had griddle marks on it and they advertise it as smoked sausage. The baked beans are absolutely horrendous. The chicken was so dry I spit feathers out. They serve hush puppies with BBQ. You serve hush puppies with fish, not bbq. I’m sorry, but I would never recommend this place.

Most excellent Barbecue made Lexington style. And being from Lexington it's spot on. Pulled chicken is awesome as well.
A half dozen well-fed cops were leaving here when I pulled up. That's always a good sign for good food. Just had the burger and fries, they were very good! Service was excellent and the prices were good. Definitely has a beach house feel. I would recommend this place.

This place is a great place to eat! The food is always fresh and delicious, the service is quick and the food servers are always so nice and kind, and the whole restaurant is so interesting with all its signs and old stuff. Try it out, you won't be sorry!

BBQ is in their name, it's what they've done since they started in a shop next to a gas station. Shaq's loaded chips are delicious- house made chips with cheese, green onions, and bacon. The baked beans have small pieces of bbq and are my favorite side. The ribs can be iffy- sometimes fall off the bone, sometimes they needed more time to cook. They only serve one type of bbq sauce.
