My boyfriend and I went for dinner and neither of us had heard about it before. I totally agree with a previous comment.. truly a hidden gem. Service was super friendly and the food was absolutely delicious. The only problem was deciding what to eat. I ordered the peach tres leches for dessert to go as well, I love this dessert, I make it at home with different variations. My first time having the peach version...my boyfriend does not like peaches... but he actually loved this dessert..and it was his first tres leches! It is now his favorite cake! Will definitely be going back.

Edit: went back a second time, was even better! I swear to y'all, this was the best dang taco I've ever and will ever eat in my entire life. POINT.BLANK.PERIOD. You know it's good as ever when it makes you keep saying dang this is good af. And was. I'll be back, probably more times than I need to, but I'm okay with that ? ? not to mention most places I go to get these kind of tacos, they always put way to much cilantro and onions that I have to pick off, but here, they have it at this bar and you add how much you want. Loved it.

Meat was a little dry. The flavor was pretty good but both the chicken and al pastor were a little tough and hard to swallow. I'd recommend the chefa seasoning the al pastor a little more - usually that is my favorite meat for taco stands, but at this place the asada was the most tasty and moist.

Absolute hidden GEM. We visited on a weekend and got the $15.99 carnitas combo with all of the sides and tortillas split between two people - so it was super affordable. The pork was tender and juicy with lots of flavor. The salsa bar had a lot to choose from, with everything from mild to smoky to flaming hot. Service was quick and friendly. Don't let all the highway construction deter you - this is worth a stop every day of the week!
