Wow what a feel at home place. 2 pool tables in the back. That I have to compliment on, The felt looking so clean and new. Lunch time crowd, very chill my kind of place, food was home cooking like I grew up eating even, could taste the love that went into making it. I can now see why they have won so many awards of being the best soul food around. Will definitely be back, my co worker got the turkey and dressing looked really good he loved it. This is in my hometown and I've been trying to get here since she opened. It did not disappoint! Me and my mom had a great meal. She lives the hamburger steak, fried tomatoes, okra, green beans, and mashed potatoes. I had the wings and mac n cheese. The portions were huge, and the prices were beyond affordable. I will get back every

First time trying today and it was so GOOD! plates were full, it tasted like a home cooked meal someone made with lots of years of practice and love instead of frozen restaurant food. The staff was super nice and welcoming too! I will def be back. Finally some real soul food!
