First time trying today and it was so GOOD! plates were full, it tasted like a home cooked meal someone made with lots of years of practice and love instead of frozen restaurant food. The staff was super nice and welcoming too! I will def be back. Finally some real soul food!
We went here today for my birthday. It's not fancy, but the food is Amazing. I had fried chicken, mac & cheese and broccoli casserole and it was all delicious!!! The chicken was perfectly crisp and not greasey.....only had to use 1 little napkin. My sister had a hamburger and it was the best!! We were made to feel very welcome and we had fun!!! We will definitely go back soon.
The food here is amazing and I can't say enough about the nice people who work here.If you come you have to have the green beans...they are the bomb.Fried Chicken, Pork Chops, Chicken Livers and vegetables are all outstanding.Highly recommend!
