I had my first apple fritter today from Sunny’s
My brother lives in gaffney and he brought it to me in Columbia SC for my birthday today.
It was a very good and a very nice treat. I will be making a special trip to gaffney just to get another one!

Donut quality has taken a precipitous decline in quality as of the past year. The once delicious maple donuts are now questionable and sloppy messes. Sunny’s used to be the best in the upstate, a destination that I would go well out of my way to enjoy however that may be a thing of the past.

I stopped in today for a cream filled long John. This place has changed as the quality was terrible. It must be a new owner. Bearly no cream and the donut tasted old and stale. It used to be great. Needless to say I won't be back. No what a remember.
Miss Mr.and Mrs. Sunny and seeing them in the morning but the new owner and his family are great people. Always stop by for a fresh donut and their cold drink selection beats most other quick stops in the area.

This place is absolutely hands down the best donut place around!!! We drove an hour each way today to get some of their donuts. We ended up purchasing 18 very large donuts! The service is always nice and friendly!

One of the best apple fritters and coffee I’ve ever had. My wife had the Bavarian cream and said it was excellent. They filled the doughnut with cream when you order them, great technique will be back again soon.
