Terrific experience at The Carolina Tavern today. Great wings and the best choice of wing sauce on the South Strand! Mini-pretzel bites were fabulous, even though our basket had an additional shot of beer poured over the top (accidentally?). TV screens are a bit old, but the atmosphere overall is very comfortable. We recommend a visit, and we'll be back!

I was in Murrells Inlet SC , came across this Tavern with a patio for my puppy. I had the blackened shrimp with sweet potato tots and they give you free salad bar. It was awesome. Tasted very good..

Mary Beth and Nikki were amazing! They made us feel like we were hanging out with family. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, the ribs fell right off the bone, and the pretzel is a must try. Great local spot. I’ll definitely be back.

Marybeth and Nikki were wonderful waitresses! Super nice and they had great suggestions. The pretzel bites are addictive. So. Good. The wings were also amazing. Huge and so many sauce choices. We got the Cajun honey, teriyaki Cajun and beer dry rub. 100/10 recommend. Can’t wait to go back soon!!

Ordered pretzel nuggets, loaded fries, bbq pork sandwich, and breaded chicken tenders with honey bbq sauce. My to-go order was ready in 20 minutes, the sauces were on the side in their own little baggie so the food didn’t get soggy, and the food itself was delicious!! I didn’t get to take any pictures because everyone was busy devouring their food.
