My dtr wanted 2 scoops of ice cream - the girl asked if I wanted the scoops together or separate. I said together and then changed my and asked for them separate so we could freeze leftovers. 1 scoop is $4 something and 2 scoops is 5.80. She charged me $9.94. I asked why so much and she said tax. I advise tax is not $4.00. She then said it was because i choose 2 cups / so it was two 1 scoop. Really!!! So you asked me about 2 cups to double my price. I am a local and will not be back and nor will i bring my out of town guests. I guess we will go to Stellas from now on.

Great place to stop for ice cream, highly recommend the black cherry in a cup or cone. Can’t wait to visit again! Best ice cream place we found in the grand strand area

We have switched to getting our ice cream at Drippy's on our yearly family vacation.
It is very very good ice cream and they have a very good variety of flavors.
We have vegans in our group and they were able to get ice cream also (although I don't personally understand vegan ice cream).
Service is amazing each time we go there and we have been 4 times in 5 days. The staff is friendly and professional.
The prices are reasonable enough for being at the beach but on the expensive side if compared to your hometown shop (which likely doesn't pay the same rent as Drippys).
Definitely worth the trip!
Kid-friendliness: Our kids were treated fantastic (not as a nuisance) and they have very kid friendly portions.

Ice cream is really good. Orange pineapple and strawberry cheesecake is delicious, and their cotton candy flavor 100% taste like cotton candy will not disappoint. Bring your friends and family here, all homemade ice cream, cakes and Ice cream cakes.
Vegetarian options: They have a Ice cream section for vegetarians.
Parking: Small parking lot but it's free parking.
