Hands down the freshest french fries you will ever eat. The hamburgers put the chain restaurants to shame.

Waited for a long time for our food - then gave us someone else’s order. Most tables that came in after we did had their food before we got ours. When we finally got served, there was a big long black hair right on top of my sausage patty. The scrambled eggs were watery, my husband’s eggs were barely cooked in his bowl and there were no biscuits. And to top it all off one of the employees was wearing an extremely strong perfume ( patchouli?) that was gaggingly strong every time she walked past. We will not be back!

Sat us then people came in after. Never came to take any order. Waited on everyone who came in after us, food and drink. They totally ignored us in a mostly empty restaurant. Highly disappointed in the place.

Generous portions, delicious food, and friendly people. The onion rings rock!

We were on the road and stopped in for some breakfast. Great food at a reasonable cost. Try it out you will probably like it.

We had passed this many times and I wished we had kept going. Atmosphere outside is nice and such a waste after tasting the food and the near non existent service. We were the only ones here for dinner. Calabash chicken was chicken nuggets that tasted not only like pre breaded frozen but so hot it was apparent things had been microwaved including the potatoes. Margarine and not real butter. Then chicken Parm was similar to the chicken nuggets laying in the bottom of bland canned tomato sauce and cheese. The salad had pickles and olives with the worst blue cheese dressing we’ve tasted. The salad was watery so it left pools of water on the plate. Also not one time were we checked on after the meal was served. When we came in the two people setting at a booth apologized that they were taking a break. When our meal was served we were told to come inside when we are ready to pay and then he never checked on us again until we paid. When one of us paid we were still talking at the table and a guy came out with a rolling cart and started clearing our table and started to take the drinks. I said I was still drinking. He cleared the two plates away and then asked for my cup. When I said I’m still drinking you could see his displeasure that he would indeed have to walk out again to get my cup when I was done. There is more but I just can’t give it any lower a score. Too bad since the outdoor deck is nice. Not rude waiters but should not be in this line of work.

Went in for breakfast this morning and had the best waitress and the food was delicious! She even brought out ice water for our little pup! I would definitely recommend this local, family owned restaurant. It definitely has a small town feel and not overly crowded. We will definitely be back!

Coming from a small town in SC, this place was awesome as a visitor. You show up, grab a seat, then they'll come and take your order within like a minute, and after that you'll watch them cook your food right in front of you. Just one person cooking, the other making sure everyone and everything is taken care of. Super nice, very good, and surprisingly big portions for how cheap it was. Cannot recommend enough.

The food was disgusting..... The burgers were blah and the gizzards and livers were burnt to a crisp.... They give a lot of condiments tho....

I was working construction at the gas station next door. I needed some breakfast so i came in, and was greeted by Lilly. She was nice to me and took my order. I made a mistake on my order and she fixed it without any problem. All day she treated me with greatest hospitality and thanks for my tea!
