Delicious food. Great oxtail and fried chicken. Sides of squash casserole, okra and tomatoes, butter beans and okra. Everything was amazing. Save room for dessert- Banana pudding-Sweet potato pie. Both are the best we have ever had.

If my fried chicken want a mini piece & dry, I would give 5 stars. The sweet tea tasted like they made it in a cup ffee pot!! Best green beans ever! Hubby & friends liked the cabbage & the okra was good. A bit pricey for what we got. $75 for 4.

This is SOUL FOOD. The reviews that say anything less are funny to me. I’m from the south so I have an appreciation for soul food. My crowd of 6 ate it up. It’s casual and laid back. Come with an empty stomach and leave stuffed.

We were visiting S. Carolina from Ohio and it was suggested we eat at Aunny's to get a taste of original Gullah cuisine. We stopped in and ordered the fried whiting, sweet potato pie, ribs, mac and cheese and cabbage. Everything was delicious!! Hot, crispy, tender, and perfectly seasoned. My two daughters told us later that visiting Aunny's and going to the beach were the best parts of their vacation!!! We will definitely be back the next time we come down.

Literally the worst food I have ever been served not even just in a restaurant. You could serve me Vienna sausages and crackers and it would be 10x better. Do not listen to the good reviews those people must have the most bland pallets imaginable and have never had real soul food. Ordered like 7 dishes and not a single grain of salt or seasoning. The ribs had nothing but barbecue sauce and weren't even cooked all the way. Told the waitress I wasn't paying.

THIS IS MY SECOND TIME COMING AN THE ONLY REASON WAS BECAUSE MY MOTHER PRETTY MUCH BEGGED US TO COME...SO ...THE FOOD WASN'T UP TO PAR...THE RED RICE AN YAMS WAS PRETTY GOOD...BUT EVERYTHING ELSE WASN'T....THE BANANA PUDDING AN PEACH COBBLER WAS DISGUSTING...NEVER AGAIN...IM SORRY...BUT THE BEST THING I HAD WAS THE WATER...AN THATS THE TRUTH...

We love to stop at local places to try the food wherever we travel.Sometimes we're disappointed...but this was not one of those times!Mercy was our server, and she was not only helpful, she was very personable. The food was ah-mazing, and it's obvious a lot of love goes into it.I had the shrimp & grits w/gravy, w/butter beans/okra, and Cole slaw.My daughter had the Mac n cheese & sweet corn.Husband had the ribs & yellow rice.We all had a corn muffin, with peach cobbler for dessert.None of us wanted to share our food but we did. Lol.We will most definitely be stopping here again on our next time through.Kid-friendliness: Mercy (our server) gave our daughter just as mu h dignity and attention as she gave us.It was a nice change, as a lot of servers ignore her. Also, the tables are covered with paper, which would be fun to draw on.

Excellent food. The waitress we had was awesome. Her name was Mercy. I really can't say enough about how much I enjoyed the food, the atmosphere, the vibe, the music, the beautiful smile on the cooks face, i didn't get her name, but she can cook. If we lived closer, I would eat there every week. I will say that Aunny's is a major reason we will go to Georgetown more often.

First trip to Georgetown. First trip to Aunny's. Will not be my last visit to Aunny's. Great breakfast on a cold day. The grits are amazing and the best I have ever had. Clean, warm, and perfectly priced. Our server was friendly and helpful on local information.
