We each had the She Crab Soup, My girlfriend had the Hopsewee Salad with grilled shrimp. I enjoyed the Brisket Sandwich with a side of potato salad. Overall, the food was good. The she crab soup was a little light on the crab but seasoned well. The potato salad was seasoned with old bay, something I enjoyed and never thought to do. The service was good. Our server, Kierston, was friendly and knowledgeable. The views from this restaurant are amazing. At $60 before gratuity and tax, I thought lunch was a little pricey for what we ordered. Bottom line - We enjoyed our meal and we will return.

This restaurant is located in Georgetown, SC right on the water. The place is a glorified beach bar that you'd expect off the beaten path in a surf beach area, like Folly Beach.
The atmosphere was AWFUL, despite the attempt to appear as fine dining with the black table cloths. The space was open inside and there was NO AIR CONDITIONING- in the Lowcountry, in JULY, it is always pushing 100 degrees, and it was an absolutely terrible environment to eat hot food. The worse part were the flies EVERYWHERE- I even kept my hand on my water glass/straw to keep them from flying into my water...
The food was decent, not great. Shrimp n Grits were marketed as shrimp, grits and andouille sausage- I think I had 3 pieces of sausage, but flavor was good. I do believe we would have enjoyed our meal more if we were not dying from the heat. Crab cakes were plentiful, hush puppy shrimp were good, and salads are huge!
I'd suggest rolling up in your boat, not planning on a dinner date here. A buzz might help...
Disappointed that we spent $248 with tip on a meal for 5, and had this experience. Maybe Oct, Nov or Dec would be better!

The view on the porch was beautiful, but the food was disappointing. I ordered the crispy roasted Brussel sprout salad with basalmic vinegar dressing and scallops. The Brussel sprouts were soggy and the dressing was a thick sweet concoction without the tang or taste of basalmic vinegar. I did not complain, but when our server took my plate, and I declined a to-go box, she asked for feedback. When I explained the issue with the sprouts, she became defensive. She then asked if anything else was wrong with my food, and I replied the scallops were not cooked correctly. They did comp the salad, but not only was the food disappointing, the server’s pressing me for feedback and then reacting defensively only deepened my disappointment in the entire experience.

We had a party of 13 and our waitress, Dezsha, delivered absolutely outstanding service from start to finish. Managing a large group can be tricky, but she didn’t miss a beat — every order was correct, drinks were refilled without us having to ask, and she kept everything running smoothly with a smile on her face. She was incredibly attentive, organized, and personable, making everyone at the table feel taken care of. Dezsha is a true professional and made our dining experience exceptional. Highly recommend asking for her if you get the chance! The apps and entrees were all so delicious!

I have been going to BTA since they opened, consistently great service and food until today! Yes it is a holiday weekend, and the weather is not great. I came in at 1 and sat at the outside bar for 25 minutes wthout being spoken to by the bartender. When another couple sat down next to me, she finally asked if they wanted a drink and then I told her I had been waiting for 25 minutes . She took my order and when my food arrived my fish was burned. I waited for 10 minutes and finally got up went to the inside bar and interacted with Chelsea whom I later found out was the GM. I told her what happened and she apologized was very nice and offered to get a replacement for my meal! My food came out cooked perfectly and was excellent!! I can not say enough about Chelsea! Thank you for your excellent customer service!

Please keep in mind that this was a first time that the service was not on point for me. Huge disappointment. We came around 1:45 PM, got seated , then we waited. It didn't help that it was a little humid , so a drink would really have made a difference... but we sat , talked , waited and finally I spoke up and called a waitress across the room, to see if we could please get some service. A young lady came, apologized, took our order, brought our drinks and as soon as the plates came, asked if everything was good. Everything looks good, everything tasted great, but I only received 4 crackers to go with my dish ( needed to scoop the salad) . Again, waiting to get her attention.... she didn't even look our way. Laser focused on what she was doing and where she was going. Finally I got up, found her and asked for more cracker. She came with the appropriate amount of crackers, that it should have come out with to begin with. Sighhh. At least she didn't mind snapping a picture of us. Anyway, we loved the food. Once we were done, we waited for her to check and see if we wanted to get the check. Mind you, she had not been back since bringing the crackers... we finally got up and walked to the hostess area. Someone came running to see about seating us. It took another minute for someone to actually get the payment. Again, usually the service was a lot better. So don't let that deter you from going. It may just be better for you.

Split the wedge salad and apps. Hush puppy shrimp and fried green tomatoes, both delicious. Salad in this picture was the split portion, so more than enough for two.
