Eve's Caribbean Soul Food Reviews
I ordered curry chicken, rice and peas, cabbage, my chicken is bright red and not finished inside. very acidic to much lime used and not done. very pricey for the amount of food you get. there should be a lunch meal i wouldnt mind 17 for a full meal but 26 dollar. wont be going there again. i give them a 3*** I can not find a good restaurant thays consistent with their food anywhere in Georgetown.
So good! Best place to go when you are tired of the same old cookie cutter food served at other restaurants in the area. So much flavor served up in generous portions. Chicken curry is amazing!
Yesterday my family and I stopped by to eat on our way back to North Carolina after attending a funeral. This restaurant was highly recommended by a good friend… the food was so so good. Those barbecue ribs were so tender and and delicious along with the rice, candid yams, and plantains. If you are ever in Georgetown, SC make sure you stop and grab a bite to eat.

Eve's Caribbean Soul Food offers delicious homemade dishes like Oxtails, Collard greens, Mac & cheese, and curry chicken. Customers consistently praise the flavorful food and generous portions. The jerk chicken is noted for its full flavor and a definite kick, while the curry chicken is recognized for its rich taste. The plantains are also a favorite among visitors. The service is friendly, and the prices are reasonable for the amount of food served, making it a great experience for anyone looking for tasty Caribbean soul food. Many consider it a hidden gem, and it is a must-visit whenever in Georgetown. Homemade tea and lemonade add to the overall excellent dining experience. Visitors highly recommend the goat Curry, and the food is made with love, tradition, and skill. The sides, including rice and peas, mac and cheese, and plantains, are well-balanced, hearty, and comforting. However, some reviews mention inconsistency, with one mentioning a curry chicken that was not fully cooked and too acidic, and prices seeming high for the portion size. Despite this, the place remains a top spot for authentic Caribbean cuisine in Georgetown.
