Just happened to see this spot passing by on my way to Charleston so I doubled back to check this place out, I ended up getting the Oxtails with white rice and a side of cabbage and greens, they definitely give more than enough food with is fine with me and the food is definitely delicious from the oxtails well cooked and prepared, wish I could have got some curry chicken but next time I definitely will, overall experience was great with no complaints at all.

This was my first time here. The customer service was really nice. The atmosphere seem nice, but the food was horrible. I had oxtail's a piece of chicken collard green's corn bread. PAN cake 30 dolland it was disgusting taste old. Taste like it has sugar in the greens The fried chicken was okay.

Incredible food that’s packed with flavor every bite!!! Just like homemade cooking! Collard greens were so rich with flavor, rice & Mac & cheese was super tasty & I def recommend any of their chicken items & oxtail!! Haven’t tried the rest of the menu yet but will be in the near future!! Service was amazing too. Super kind people!! Price is great for the amount of food you receive too!

Food was microwaved for too long so it made it a little difficult to eat right away. Wasn’t aware that I would be charged $2.10 for a water. Bathroom smelled like mothballs which made me feel a little sick. I’m not Jamaican but I’ve had better tasting Jamaican food (food is okay if you’re extremely hungry). On a positive note, the server was very nice.

What a great little hole in the wall off the beaten track Gem! I walked into this restaurant and was greeted immediately with amazing fragrances! Wow! Talk about getting very hungry very fast! The staff were super friendly and helpful as I asked them about their menu. They were such a pleasure to visit with. I have dined at several restaurants in both Jamaica and other islands in the Caribbean and found this little restaurant served better Soul food than I have ever had. The Oxtail was amazing and fragrant. Yum! Pork Ribs were very good, but not typical. Tasty, with Sweet Baby Ray Sauce, and just about falling off the bone, tender-perfect doneness. Let me just simplify this review by saying that everything my friend and I had, was very good and thoroughly enjoyed. Here is a list of those items: Mac-N-Cheese, Cornbread, Goat Curry, Sweet Potato Bread, Chicken Pilau Rice, Collard Greens, & Candied Sweet Potatoes. The restaurant wasn't fancy, but it was clean and has a great friendly atmosphere.

Everything was outstanding. The woman who worked there was so kind to us. The food was hot, served very quickly, and extremely delicious. I had the jerk chicken, collard greens (highly recommend), and probably the best potato salad I've ever eaten. Very reasonably priced. I would 100% come back.
This is one of those hole-in-the-wall places that's easy to miss, because it doesn't look like much, but you're so happy when you discover it. Food is excellent - we had the goat curry and the jerk chicken, and both were great. Give it a try - you'll be glad you did!
