We accidentally crashed a private party. They graciously asked us to join in, plenty of food, we didn't but instead the owners daughter and granddaughter treated us to a museum tour. They made our day, thank you I hope to return someday when your dying indigo items😊
What a delightful step back in time. Our tour guide, Yancy, was a fount of information about the house and the history of the area. We learned many things. The Tea was superb! My husband, who usually is very particular about what he eats, enjoyed every single bite of the Tea and even purchased a box of the special Hopsewee tea to bring home. My daughter now plans to visit soon.
My friend and I had a great time. We spent an afternoon enjoying the Tea Service at Hopsewee Plantation. This experience included our choice of flavorful brewed hot teas along with scones, sandwiches, and other tasty treats. Everything was plentiful and delicious. The staff provided exceptional customer service. A true bonus was the beautiful setting overlooking the Santee River.
