I always try to stop by to get the fried shrimp lunch and a side of fried rice. This place is awesome and such an easy stop and great location. There is a free museum right across the street and a boardwalk to walk around. I always try to stop through when I'm driving through the area.

The food and service were excellent. Proportions were generous. We ordered the hibachi chicken, fried green tomatoes, fried pickles, pecan crusted goat cheese salad, poke, and the sech roll. The only downside was that the gluten-free soy sauce was tasteless.
Dietary restrictions: They were able to accommodate my gluten allergy.
We usually get takeout here on Hump Day and I get the Asian salad with fried chicken. Salad is very good, but the chicken is always dry and rubbery so I usually don’t eat it. A little disappointing considering what you pay.

Food was great, service was as well. One thing that was annoying was the printed bill was illegible. Our waiter had to add up 3 individual bills himself. Not good!!

Real kicker came with the service, the waitress was incredibly impatient with our order as well as rather rude, and after paying the cheque she proceeded to return and rather aggressively comment on how the tip wasn’t enough and in America the standard tip is 20% as servers only make 2$ an hour. I’m an immigrant that has lived here for 3 years and I’m well aware of the tipping standards, I quite simply did not believe she deserved a 20% tip. It is unfortunately not my job to make up for what her employer pays her, and that is coming from someone who has worked in the food industry here in the USA. If you’re unimpressed with your pay, take it up with your employer. If you’re unimportant with your tip, take it up with yourself. Confronting the customer is quite simply appalling behavior.

Service was horrible, waitress was very passive aggressive, asked where we were from before receiving the bill, then confronted about a “bad tip” even going as far as to say “here in America” with the knowledge we weren’t from around here originally. Food was also not great, the menu wasn’t very descriptive and left out a lot of information about everything. The actual place wasn’t bad but the soy sauce cups were literally flimsy, almost clear plastic and most of the plates were also hard plastic.. hard pass on coming here again.

She even confronted us afterwards about the tip we left her, very passive aggressively taking a dig at us being foreigners. The food was alright, wouldn’t eat here again.
