Wonderful. Had crispy fried duck for the first time. Onion soup and creamed spinach was out of this world ??️‍♀️??

I would first like to say the service is great. You walk in and feel welcomed. The Chef is amazing from making you feel welcomed as you enter , to perfecting the meal , also checking your liking after the meal is out. The wait staff are amazing and heartwarming. I will definitely be back.

We just went in late for dessert. The "Sack" was absolutely wonderful. A bag or sack made of rich chocolate filled with cake bites, pudding, whipped cream and fruit. ? Happy eating!

My wife and I visited recently on our anniversary. The atmosphere is beautiful, especially the back of the restaurant which is like starlit garden. The food and service were exceptional from the soup and salad to the main course. I had a shrimp and wild mushroom chowder that was based in a delicious creamy sherry chock full of shrimp and mushrooms. My wife had a salad which was large with a fine dressing. My main course of the bacon wrapped pork chop was equally tasty and satisfying. We had their special, unique frozen chocolate strawberry shortcake bag. This was an incredible concoction of strawberries, pound cake, lots of cream and frozen chocolate that was rich and delicious and impossible for the two of us to finish. The staff was welcoming and attentive from the head waitress and assistants to the chef who came out to check on our food. I highly recommend this for anyone wanting a special meal while in Historic Georgetown.

The French onion soup and chowder were great! (Until we asked for one to go and it was dumped into a foldable cardboard box to go) as seen in the photo attached. For this price, the quality of the 3 steaks ordered did not reflect the menu pricing by a LONG shot. The ribeye was under 1.5” thick. The filets were grey colored and also around 1.5” thick. We were informed a new distributor for steaks was involved, sadly, they didn’t adjust menu pricing to reflect the quality of the meat to let customers know. At $46-55 at the bare minimum for a steak, this was crazy. The waitstaff and servers were wonderful, which is why we tipped well, it isn’t their fault. We returned our steaks without eating them and did get a slice of coconut cake waiting for the bill- The cake is delicious, but after this disappointing celebration dinner we left hungry and confused, only to come home to the soup in a cardboard box. We’re locals. This was not a place we will be back to or suggest anyone go to.

This is a lovely and sophisticated venue in Georgetown SC. We had a pleasant and relaxing meal. The staff is friendly and attentive. The menu is diverse and creative. The facocia bread is fabulous. The drink pours are very light for the price. Wine selection is excellent. Our dinner selections have mixed reviews. The duck was perfectly prepared and very tasty. The crab cakes were very salty with more filler than crab meat. The beef filet as extremely expensive ($59 for 8oz) and very bland in taste. The lobster ravioli special was very good. Creamed spinach was excellent. SOCO is on a good path but still needs some work.

Had really high expectations, but was extremely disappointed. The cocktails were watered down. The shrimp chowder was thick and rich, but only one shrimp. The grouper was over cooked and the preparation was abysmal. The brussel sprouts seemed to be seasoned with a healthy dose of soy sauce, but otherwise lacking. Dinner was luke warm. There was only one other table of diners on a Friday night. Very telling. I would not return. It was far from memorable for the right reasons.

The menus by Chef Mike werevery innovative and of high quality. Great service by the chef and Julie. This is truly a fine dining place and is the only restaurant in Georgetown with white table cloths! Mike & Barbara - Aiken, SC

The chef at this restaurant prepares excellent food. We had Caesar salads that were well executed, as well as delicious calamari, tuna tartare and bacon wrapped scallops. Each dish was a great example of what it was supposed to be, which is all I ask in a restaurant. The staff was friendly and accommodating. It will be the answer to the question, “I’m hungry and don’t want to cook. Where should we go for a nice meal?”

I had lunch here yesterday. Ordered a cup of seafood gumbo= lots of seafood, veggies and broth, but WAY too salty. I could hardly eat it. Also, ordered grandma's meatloaf with 2 sides. Just ok. Wouldn't go back!

Save your money and go elsewhere. Horrible service and probably the worst crab cakes I have ever had. Never again.

It was not worth the drive, the experience or the time. Nothing was right. Our bill was $600 for steak and salad. Not worth it. ?

Excellent service. Food was way overpriced and food quality was poor. The steaks are definitely not worth purchasing at the Price they are charging. I don’t like to get bad reviews, but this one deserved it.
