This place was recommend as a favorite lunch spot and I can certianly see why.... Absolutely a place that serves up some southern hospitality, good ol' southern favorites and thr pineapple đ Mule is delicious... It's not on the waterfront but it has all the charm and variety of southern food. I highly recommend as well.. If you're in the area, it should be on you list..we will be back for sure!!!!

Over priced. Me and my mom ended up splitting the combination platter with flounder and oysters. The waitress said it came with two large pieces of flounder so we went the sharing route since it was lunch. The waitress also said it came with two sides so my mom ordered collards and I ordered squash casserole. When the food came out we had one piece of flounder and like 8 oysters. This meal was $38! The collards were sweet đ€ź and the casserole was okay. When we ordered I told the waitress we usually ate flounder at River room and she assured me this was BETTER. Sadly no. By far was it better. We didnât even ask for the second piece of fish because the taste wasnât that good anyways, a lot of breaded and no fish but when the bill came we saw a charge for $2 extra per side??? She couldnât explain why so she offered a $2 gift card to cover one of the charges but we told her no thank you because we wouldnât be back. She was super nice.

Nothing's perfect, so it didn't get 5 stars. But if you're ever in Georgetown, this is the best little Bar & Grill you could go to. Being right next to the pier the food was simply Amazing!

The food was terrible...extremely greasy. Not tasty. Could not eat and did not eat the beef tacos. My partner did and ended up sick for hours. I tried the baked mac n cheese....wow was.it salty. This was a terrible place to eat. Food was really that bad. The nachos were all full of grease and tasteless with the exception of dirty grease. I do not recommend. Be careful with the food. Another customer near us said the coleslaw was rancid and refused to eat it. She didnt want to get sick. I hope they get a new chef. Love the waterfront...just not the food.

We made the mistake of stopping at Grit & Grind first, where we were treated like weâd wandered into a staff meeting uninvited. The lady there was so rude we decided to head across the street to SoCo Grille and thank goodness we did.
From the second we walked in, we were greeted with genuine smiles and treated like actual guests. The food was fresh, flavorful, and fairly priced. And when our 1-year-old started getting fussy, a staff member stopped what they were doing just to make him a balloon glove. Thatâs the kind of small kindness that sticks with you long after the meal is over.
If youâre looking for brunch and deciding between the two, take my advice and skip the ârules first, welcome laterâ vibe and head straight to SoCo Grille. Here, hospitality is always on the menu.

My daughter in-law brought me there for my birthday. Everything was awful except the fried okra. I ordered the flounder with crab topping. The mac and cheese was dry and tasteless. The grits was cold and the pimento on top tasted spoiled. Myself and my granddaughter didn't eat the sides so I told the waitress and she said the sides were free with the entree. What??? My daughter in law got the pasta salad and couldn't eat it, it was that bad. I just wished I took a picture. We paid for the meal but I will never go there again.

What a wonderful find. I was down in SC for business, from NJ and SOCO was next door to our hotel, so we walked in on a Wednesday night with a party of 12. The service was outstanding, the food was too notch. Everything we ordered was fresh, hot and absolutely delicious. The hand crafted jalapeño poppers stuffed with sausage were other worldly. The owner Craig came in, walked over to our table and made us feel right at home, while asking if we were happy with the food and the service. Happy is an understatement. We topped the night off with some of Craigâs wifeâs fresh baked pies and once again- absolutely top notch. If you are within an hour drive of SOCO, Do yourself a favor and get there for a little piece of heaven, served with a smile. By far the best food we found on our recent journey! Thank you Craig and team !!

I never in my life had a bad country fried steak till tonight as one just can't go wrong cooking the country fried stakes. Maybe they had a wrong cook tonight.....both hubby n I ordered country fried steak and we both agree there was something was wrong with that stake. The stake, not only tough but very chewy. What made it worse was that stake seemed like fried first, then dipped into to some sort of batter then fried again. The crust was hard and when tried to cut the meat, it just cracked and fell right off of the meat so we ate the meat without the crust. Both hubby n myself had different sides and they were also weird. Mashed potatoes were bland and not much flavor. Usually, I am not a picky eater and even if something on my plate is not perfect to my liking, I would just move onto something else on my plate. However, tonight's meal was different and between meat, and 2 sides......let me just say that based on my experience tonight, I would not recommend to anyone to try this place out. On other hand, my daughter had a sandwich and she did enjoyed so maybe I should have gone with a sandwich.....
