Sweeties Homemade Ice Cream & Sweets

We weren't having the best of days and decided to stroll in here. The owner is fantastic and really made our day. He's very nice and the sweets were amazing. We had some home made ice cream and some chocolates. We talked about it for the next 30 minutes as we strolled around down town and ate our sweets. very good! 5 stars

I’m giving 3 stars only because our last visit was a friendly and service full one but today we were met with an employee who was obviously ready to close. She immediately told us cash only upon entering (I’m sure she had already balanced electronic payments for the day), then when we asked for the iced coffee, we were told they were out. Another customer entered and experienced the same unwelcoming greeting. We left. Too bad the gentleman owner wasn’t there today. This employee made it clear she was in no mood to serve customers. Disappointing

This place is amazing! First of all, they were making fresh waffle cones while we were there, so the smell was delicious! I had the blackberry ice cream, and it was absolutely the best ice cream I’ve ever had (we’ve traveled every state and have tried ice cream from all over)! Their pecan turtles are to die for! Everything is homemade and fresh. I can’t say enough great things about this place. The staff were very welcoming and polite! This is a must stop if you’re in the area!!

This is a gem of a place! The chocolate confectionary tastes amazing, the ice cream is creamy and exceptional, and the staff go above and beyond to take care of you. Check out the chocolate frogs, coconut clusters, truffles, and peanut butter chocolate ice cream. We looking forward to visiting again!

I visited with my family and was eager to try the homemade icecream. The lady working there obviously didn’t want to be there, she wasn’t nice and it got my family offended that they refused to buy ice cream. I ended up ordering pecan and maple flavors and they were delicious. It’s unfortunate that the costumer service isn’t good because this could be a little gem.

We stopped in on our way home from a weekend trip and are so glad we did!! Everything was amazing. The customer service, the selection, the ice cream, and the quality of their sweets are all wonderful. We got several things to take home and every single one was delicious. We would absolutely recommend to anyone needing a sweet treat!!

The only place I can find dark chocolate covered apricots. I happily drive from Myrtle to Georgetown just to get my fix.

Loved this little gem we found! Was there last Friday and going back tomorrow! The handmade sweets were very good!
