True down home cooking. Fried chicken done to perfection, collards with bacon(sweet with a little bit of tang), corn bread and yellow rice. Sweet tea and hummingbird cake. Like visiting grandmas house. Highly recommend.

Friendly staff with wonderful customer service. Extensive menu offering DELICIOUS soul food/comfort dishes with generous portions. We visited restaurant twice in one day while attending the 2022 Wooden Boat Show. Looking forward to our next visit!

Traditional soul food with generous portions & sweet tea that would make any Southern mama proud. I had fried chicken, hubby had smothered pork chops & gravy. Wide array of sides all cooked with love!

Decent food. Portions somewhat small and a bit disappointing. Shrimp were ? but fish not seasoned well. Chalkboard menu needs to be legible or able to be interpreted. Hostess couldn’t seem to make it clear what they had on the menu. If you can’t see menu because you’re sitting at a distance hostess should know what’s in that kitchen off the top of her head! All that mumbling and guessing is irritating when somebody hungry. Hostess also needs to check to see if you need anything more often. Finally, hostess shouldn’t present a bill with numbers that don’t belong, scratch outs, and with “no total”. On what planet do you ask somebody for their credit card and not tell them what they owe??? When I buy a dress or a burger I get my total “first” then I present my payment. Asking a patron for their credit card and not giving them a legible bill or total and saying “Oh I’ll add it up at the register” is not how that’s done. #CustomerService101

What an unexpected and DELICIOUS stop for lunch! Friendly staff to go with amazing food! Fried chicken, bbq ribs and the fixin's: Lima beans, Mac n cheese, squash casserole, yellow rice and the PIE! Pecan and cherry, just like grandma made!! Run, don't walk, run!

We had a family get-together so everyone ordered different things. No one was disappointed. Everything was piping hot. My husband and I had the ribs which fell off the bone. Others raved about the chicken and meatloaf. So many different sides to choose from! Our server, Stephanie was delightful and efficient. We will be back when we are in the area.

We were headed on the shell tour and so we wanted to eat right before. We walked in the wed before Thanksgiving and they asked if we were there to eat or volunteer... because they cook Thanksgiving for basically the town. We ate..great pancakes eggs and sausage. Would definitely return for breakfast.

I stopped for lunch and was not disappointed. I ordered the fried chicken meal. It included 2 sides ( I chose sweet corn and yams) and a corn muffin. There were many ‘side’ choices. The staff was very friendly and the food was hot and ready in short order. The chicken was delicious. I had no room for the peach cobbler dessert, but I was able to take a portion home. It was very good.

Delicious Plate Lunches!!! I knew this restaurant was going to be fabulous because the menu choices were written on a huge chalkboard!!! What a vast choice of food!!!I ordered the shrimp and grits, creamed corn, and fried okra!! My husband ate the fried chicken, red rice , corn on the cob, and fried okra. Cornbread muffins came with both entrees!!! Service was superb!!! I will be back!!!

I was skeptical about this place it looks old and not in pristine shape. I dared to hop out the car and sashay in the doors and the southern gospel music going on here hit me. I was like Oh HECK yea! Sunday morning Gospel, fried chicken and good company! What else can you ask for?Fried chicken was good. BBQ chicken is tender and sweet based with a citrus hint. The cabbage is sweet and so is the okra and tomatoes. The corn bread is delicious and the mac and cheese is just like your mommas. A definite stop.

Not only does the food taste scrumptious, the service is always excellent!!! We love the wonderful Mama Jane who took our orders and brought us the freshest and tastiest food + many refills of our favorite 1/2&1/2 sweet&unsweetened tea. We discovered this local gem after talking to someone who had stayed in Georgetown SC in the past. We had the best dining experience and tasted the BEST southern cuisine at Aunny’s!!! This is a foodie must-go destination for a truly satisfying dining experience at any time of the day (but don’t go there too late as the restaurant closes at 7pm on most days & at 6pm on Sundays).

My wife and I spent the day in Georgetown and stopped by Aunny's for breakfast. We shared a plate of shrimp and grits. The serving was enough for the both of us for breakfast and the food was very good. Our server, Deanna, did an awesome job. It may have been a little pricey at 20 bucks for the one plate and two drink, but I would definitely go back.

My hubby and I was passing thru and we love to eat at a local family owned restaurant. We found “Aunny’s”. Great Food. Fun Atmosphere. During our visit, we met BOOBOO. WE HAD THE BEST TALK!! Spirts, ghost and family. I felt like we were kindred spirits! Well to let you know BOO WE FOUND THE GRAVES OF THE GRAY MAN AND ALICE. WALKED AROUND HER GRAVE AND WAS SCARED TO DEATH. SAM SNUCK UP AND BLEW IN MY EAR ??? GO EAT AT AUNNY’S ??????

I've lived in this region of SC for over fifteen years and driven through Georgetown countless times; how I hadn't managed to swing by Aunny's long ago is beyond me. In the last month, I've eaten there twice, once for lunch, and once for breakfast. The quality, taste, and presentation of each item was authentic, and the service from each staff member was superb! I'll make it a point to stop in each time I drive through Georgetown.

I would have posted a photo but we ate our food so fast there was no time. Every once and a while you find a spot that feels both like family and your past. This is Aunny’s. We ordered turkey, smothered fried pork chop, Fried Chicken, Mac and cheese, sweet corn, corn muffins. This was good food, the kind that makes you do a little wiggle in the booth. And if the food is amazing the people are better, both kind and welcoming. If you’re considering stopping in - do it. You won’t regret it.
