Honestly I debated even leaving a review because I felt it would fall through the cracks and not be acknowledged. Or taken seriously as I’m new to the area. I went into the restaurant and ordered two sandwiches, hot dog, fries and tots to go. I was originally told it would take 15/20 minutes to make my food. Ok, cool. I didn’t expect my food to be ready instantly, I’ve worked in food I so get it. However I waited over 40 minutes for my food. I forgot to mention, I WAS THE ONLY PERSON IN THE RESTAURANT. Two phone orders were placed and picked up while I was waiting for my order I honestly feel I only got any of my food was because I was getting irritated that my toddler, who was in the car with my husband, was waiting for his Hot dog for over 40 minutes. Try dealing with a hungry 2 year old. When my food finally came out, whoever cooked it brought it out with an attitude and explained that it takes at least 20/25 minutes to make a Philly cheesesteak. Say what… in what world does it take that long to make one sandwich, when there is ABSOLUTELY no one else in the restaurant. Had it been busy I would not even be writing this review, because like I said, I get it food has to be cooked. To make it worse I didn’t get my tots, I read the sign that said check the bag before you leave but didn’t because I wanted to get out of there so that’s on me. The lady who took my order was a completely sweet heart. I was upset and on the verge of tears because of the cooks attitude and the amount of time I waited. On my way out the door I was about to to say something to the lady who took my order and the lady who cooked the food was staring me down making me feel extremely uncomfortable and even more upset. Again I highly doubt anything will come from this review but felt it needed to be known. Like I said I’m new to the area and I have only lived in Gilbert for a month and really wanted to love this place because I love supporting small businesses. But I highly doubly I’ll ever go back.

Worst food in a 50 mile radius. Even if they made it taste good they would screw up your order and forget something. All it would take is a place next door to put these guys out of business and you can trust that with time it will happen. They only thrive because for all of the surrounding homes they are the only food place under a 10 minute drive. Ask for salt on your fries and you won't get it. Ask for ranch dressing for your salad and they'll forget to give it to you. Want a cheese steak? They putting friggin Italian dressing on it!!! This place is a true clown show! And I can't wait until time allows better businesses to move in and demolish this cow pie selling dumpster fire of a restaurant!

The pepper steak sub was recommended to me and it was amazing! The bread was soft and fresh! The meat was seasoned to perfection and the fries were perfect. I’ll definitely be going back.

Super good food! I learned the owner (I’ll bet you a dollar his name is Joey!), opened this restaurant when he was 19 years old! Awesome food. Great service! Clean! And Joey’s mom is the best in the whole world. Friendly lady! Joey, you need to give her a raise. Or, maybe be the best son known to mankind! She is bringing in business like there is no tomorrow! I want her to be my mom, except she’s about as young as I am. I asked her what sub sandwich was best. She made some very logical and helpful suggestions. So good. Try any of them. Everything I saw coming out and being eaten looked REALLY GOOD. So, I had the Club Sub Sandwich. It was warm and good! Do it! Get one! Wait… get three of them! Take one home to your mom. Give one to Joey’s mom. She is a peach! Thank you for great food and great experience!

This is such an awesome place. It’s got the old timey mom and pop shop feel. Everyone is so laid back and kind. The food is phenomenal and so fresh! I live like 5 minutes away, have for years, and have never been before. I was looking for a place nearby to take my daughter after a day at the park so we wouldn’t have to drive into Lexington and this place came up on the map with great reviews. I can see why! They even have a little table with activities for the kids to play with while waiting for food. A big hit for my two year old. We will now be going back often!
Kid-friendliness: It’s a very relaxed space and I wasn’t stressed about my two year old being there unlike some restaurants you know kids are frowned upon. This place was not like that. They all smiled and waved at her!
