I have been here three times. The first time I got a burger and sweet potato fries. Both were delicious however the sweet potato fries were out of this world 10/10 I could not stop thinking about them. We ate inside and unfortunately it seemed like the restaurant had no ac. I was feeling pretty nauseous after eating the greasy food in the heat. So the next time we called the order in. I got a corn dog, a hot dog, and sweet potato fries. The corn dog was raw on the inside and the hot dog was very pale and had a flavor that tasted very cheap . The sweet potato fries were not crispy at all it was basically just a sliced cooked sweet potato. But I decided to give this place another chance . The third time the sweet potato fries were delicious and crispy again. Every time we have ordered a burger it has been good. So I would recommend this restaurant but only for a burger and sweet potato fries. Those are 10/10 amazing. I would be careful about the other menu items.

Hamburger steak was generous and good. The fried okra was burned-almost black. I’m surprised they even put it on the plate. I finished the okra but only because I paid for it. The house salad was top notch. The people their their greatest asset; they were so nice.

This establishment is as close as you will ever get to Mayberry from Andy G show. Its EXACTLY like that. Food is fantastic, ppl all appear so happy you are here and to wait on you all with a smile. We have been many times and there is one young man waiting and serving all the tables, knows the regulars by name and he.has the most AUTHENTIC southern drawl and I too, grew up in Ga so I have it too ...but not like this young man. The ppl cooking will gladly engage in conversation as well. If you never eat at The Blue Top Grill, you have trully missed a true southern treat. You would never know it by looking at it from the road. Go ahead... Take a step back in.time. You won't regret it.

It was worth the 30 minute drive to eat here. We were very lucky and walked in and got a seat. You feel like you stepped into a different time when there was a whole lot less wrong with the world. I hope to come back someday.
