Love this place located at south of the border food is always excellent and the staff is always super friendly the only negatives we had to wait to be seated about 10 minutes and our table was uneven so it wobbled everytime you went to eat something other than thank the filet was excellent and the surf and turf and always love the salad bar and sweet tea a must do if you are at south of the border

A little on the expensive side, but well worth it. Food was excellent. The steak fillet, practically melted in my mouth. The waitstaff was very friendly, and very professional. As well as kitchen staff. I will definitely come back here.

For me, this is a long overdue return to the Peddler since the "remodel"
I ordered the 12oz Ribeye Cooked medium rare and a sweet potato
And the tea, it's pretty good
The restaurant was quiet but busy, the food fantastic, the service attentive and friendly.
Of course they only serve Pepsi products, but I won't hold that against them.
I would recommend a visit, However, plan accordingly, they do not open until 5 pm

My husband and I were happy to discover this restaurant. It’s actually inside the South of the Border area but is an independent restaurant there. It is a super clean restaurant with a great salad bar. We both got this and it comes with bread and a side. Great prices for a steak restaurant. Anna was a fantastic server. It was a little dark inside but the curtains do keep out the hot sun. Check out this restaurant. You’ll be glad you did!

Went in at 856 to grab a quick bite to eat Website says Closed at 930 Waitress was extremely nice, The cook however on the other hand was so rude and very unwelcoming right where we could hear him ( and this is supposed to be a high class restaurant ) All he had to do was explain it to us, without the words and attitude How was we supposed to know they closed at 9 when no outside signs and website says 930 ? We definitely will not be back and only open for 4- 5 hrs a day you would think they wouldn't turn away customers for the prices they charge ?

We are staying at the Camp Pedro campground for the night and wanted something close. Most of the restaurants in the Dillon area are Mexican which I wasn't really wanting and compounded by being a Sunday (everything is closed on Sunday in the South) the options were sparse. The Peddler had surprising good reviews so we rolled the dice. Score!! This is a hidden gem in the South of the Border complex and boy were we pleased. We were greeted with a smile and were promptly seated. The waitresses were great and were very attentive. I had the 10oz Ribeye and my wife had the Petit Filet. Both were prepared to perfection over a coal fire. The salad bar was nicely stocked with fresh ingredients and was very tasty. This was a great end to a very long travel day and we are so glad we stopped into here. We'll be back on future trips where we stay at Camp Pedro.
