The Sombrero Restaurant - South of the Border

We arrived before 12 p.m. There were only 3 tables occupied. We ordered 2 steak burritos. We waited 40 minutes for our order. When they brought us the food, I almost cried. What they brought me wasn't a burrito, it was a tortilla with steak and cheese. I don't know who the cook and the manager are because they need to educate themselves more about the ingredients in the food they're serving. I've had better burritos at Taco Bell, and bigger ones for less. The flavor was good, as was the service. If you're hungry, I don't recommend this restaurant.

Party of 6 on a roadtrip. We stopped by because it was the only restaurant open.
We got seated immediately, since the restaurant was mainly empty.
Order came before the utensils & had to wait for them. 4 of us ordered the Rib Eye and all of them were awful, with more grease than meat, sweet & simple.
The other 2 people ordered fried chicken & chicken tenders that were ok.
When we got the check, it was really expensive base on the quality of the food we got, we also got charged 18% for a “big party”, and the lady proceed to ask for more tip without letting us know they already charged the 18%.
It’s not worthy!!!

What a disappointment!! NO Mexican food on the menu! This is PEDRO'S!!! Not going back! The waitress was absolutely great! Hannah was awesome helping us! But we hoped to have Mexican food at South of the Border!!! What happened??

Walked up from the truck stop wanted to order dinner to go i was refused service the lady said they only do dine in orders what a joke I'm a truck driver and my son has crowd anxiety i was gonna get him some food and take back to the truck i guess kids with disabilities ain't allowed to eat from this establishment tried to call three times and talk to a manager they wouldn't even come to the phone iean i just wanted to order takeout for two

Would not recommend this place it absolutely sucks… The rice was very cold and didn’t taste good at all. There no actual Mexican food in the menu also Taco Bell tacos are way better and cheaper then there tacos..
