Very pleasant and I enjoyed my Don Machete Nachos with beef, will definitely go again. It's also a favorite of many of my friends.

The service was friendly, the food was fabulous and the prices were extremely reasonable. I had the chicken and steak fajitas while my wife had a taco salad with chicken. The margarita was made perfectly and priced under$10. We will definitely go there again if we’re ever in the area.

Low stars are not because I have eaten here. It’s because they think it’s OK to play very loud music for several hours at a time in the evening. Very rude not to think of their neighbors.

Very delicious food and very good fresh water
$25.20 for a lunch quesadilla. They mumble a lot, and the food isn't made in front of you. You can pay half as much for a better meal at Burrito Express just a bit west on the I-95. That said, it was edible, and the place was quiet.

Authentic little restaurant in Levy. It's nearby but still far removed from the big city atmosphere of Savannah. Speaking Spanish is a plus.

I came in here with family. We are traveling from far so we decided to stop here. I’m absolutely disappointed! Food was way too expensive for 5 people. The food came in late and it was pretty empty. Amount of food they put in the plate isn’t fair to the amount they are charging. The bathrooms didn’t work at all, it was dirty and clogged. Service was okay, employees were nice. I would not come back here ever again! Way too expensive for mediocre food. Don’t come here at all

Don Machete is an excellent place to go! The food is absolutely delicious, the servers are friendly, and the atmosphere is just right with the music in the background the perfect theme and volume, the nice cool air, and so much more then can be fit into just one review. But don't just take my word for it, go try it yourself!

I stopped on the interstate to get gas set up across from the station in an old huddle House building was Don Machete. Hands down the best Mexican food I've ever had in a restaurant. I do love finding these hidden gems along my travels! I ate by myself when was the only non-latino in the place. There was someone of a language barrier with my server but we worked it out beautifully. Did I happen to mention that there was a live Mariachi band?!
