Chips and salsa were delicious. The salsa was spicy, which I loved. The meat on our fajitas was cooked to perfection - we enjoyed the chicken and steak a lot.
When you're done eating, you've got to check out the store next door. They had amazing flan and some gelato options, as well as grocery staples.

The one TV in main dining room should be showing something...anything...other than the 16 security camera feeds. Food was good other than the carne being a little tough to chew.

I'm giving 2 stars because the staff was friendly and attentive.
We stopped here because there was some great reviews and a couple mentioned it was GF friendly and even mentioned a separate fryer.
This was not the case. They don't have a separate fryer. The girl that spoke English clearly didn't even really comprehend what GF was. However, after we explained a little, they did offer to cook corn tortillas in a skillet.
We debated leaving but we were hungry and sometimes these little hole-in-the-wall places are the best so we gave it a chance.
If you order water, they only serve bottled water with cups of ice. My cup was dirty and another cup was cracked.
The GF orders were 2 asada, 1 chorizo and 1 carnitas tacos. The non GF order was cheese and chicken nachos.
All the reviews mentioned how flavorful and delicious the food was. I honestly think they were for a different place.
Everything we ordered was bland.. to the point of almost tasteless. I've never had chorizo with less flavor. We ate most of the tacos because we were hungry but the nachos went to waste completely.
Wanted to love it. Will never go back.

Random find while traveling I-95. Amazing food and we were pleasantly surprised. The food was fantastic and well seasoned. If you like something authentic I recommend the lengua and cabesca tacos. Won’t regret the stop. Also they have a little market for road trip snacks.

2nd time coming here. The food is really so good and authentic! Sad that the prices went up, but of course it's necessary for them. The molcajete is #1!

Excellent authentic Mexican food. Rare in the US to see cabeza and lengua on the menu. I had sopas pastor, asada, and carnitas and all were great.
If you want an authentic Mexican meal this is the place for you the al pastor tacos were fantastic the Asada was great definitely worth a stop!
