Haven't been to waffle House in many years. Everything has gone downhill, the food the service and the atmosphere. Won't be returning

It's what you would expect. I actually had a waffle and the taste was pretty good but the texture was off. Rubbery like it wasn't finished cooking. The omelet was ok, it was cooked in to much oil. I still would go back again.

It's the Waffle House. You either get it and love it, or you don't. Nuff said. My favorite menu item is a double order of hash browns, all the way (that means ALL the toppings) with two eggs over easy on top.

Hey, it’s just Waffle House, right. Staff are always courteous, friendly and efficient. Food is always good and served with care.
But THIS Waffle House was just a cut above the many others we have encountered in our full time travels. The environment was noticeably well maintained and the staff was extra friendly. Food was served very quickly and presented in a very appealing manner. It was clearly evident that management had a hand in this restaurant’s operations.

This location is amazing. I stopped around the area during a roadtrip to beat traffic. Best decision. The food was perfectly cooked, but it was the service that stood out. It was brilliant, friendly, staff were attentive and smiling. Sabrina is an amazing employee! The atmosphere was extremely inviting.

It’s giving me great pleasure to write this review because I’m just leaving this place and it was terrible. They don’t know what 2 eggs over hard mean. According to the waitress/manager they are too busy to cook your food correctly. Meanwhile, the place was empty. 😂😂😂 Don’t waste time or money here. I’m disputing the charge.

The cook treated who took our order, James, very poorly. He yelled at him to the point that made me jump. Then, the cook yelled at James again and blamed him for messing up our order. James announced the order correctly as I heard him do so. The way the cook treated James was deplorable and VERY embarrassing for James who took it professionally and did not react adversely to the situation. This is not the way to treat a good employee. My over easy eggs yolks were popped and over fried, as was the waffle. The cook is the problem not James.

I Stopped in for breakfast this morning. My goto meal is the Cheesesteak hashbrown bowl.

It's my fault! I should have walked out but I needed breakfast before my Golf tournament.

The active line Cook was squeegeeing the floor while wearing, and not changing, his vinyl gloves. At one point he bent down a picked up a big wet object and threw it away. Shortly after he grabbed my food items to throw on the flattop/grill without changing his gloves!

Here i sit 10 hours later, on the toilet, with diarrhea. If you visit a waffle house watch them and heed my warning ... run if they aren't changing their gloves!

On Sunday, September 28th, around 4 p.m., I ducked into a Waffle House as a tropical storm began to roll in. With few other options available, the promise of quick service and familiar comfort food made Waffle House the logical choice. Upon stepping inside, I was immediately hit with the smell of grease and waffles. The fluorescent lights cast a pale glow over the red and yellow tiles, giving the restaurant an eerie yet oddly comforting feel. The dining room was about half full, and I was greeted immediately before being told I could sit wherever I liked. I chose a spot at the low counter. The waitress, friendly though brisk, asked whether I was dining in or taking food to go. Once I said “dining in,” she handed me a napkin with a fork and knife neatly stacked on top. The laminated menu offered both hearty lunch and dinner options, but I flipped straight to the breakfast side, where I knew I would find my beloved waffles. Although I was ready to order, I gave the waitress a moment to attend to a grumpy older customer seated beside me. Despite his impatience, she treated him warmly before returning to take my order. I settled on a plain waffle, a side of “covered” hashbrowns, which are topped with a slice of melted American cheese, and a glass of milk. The waitress promptly set a bottle of syrup on a napkin in front of me and called out my order to the cook, the only other employee, working the grill behind the counter. My hashbrowns arrived first, golden and crispy on the outside yet still soft and tender on the inside. The cheese bound everything together perfectly, though I added a sprinkle of salt and pepper to bring out more flavor. The waffle followed shortly after. With the Waffle House logo imprinted on its fluffy surface, it was served with soft, spreadable butter, which is something I greatly appreciated, as frozen butter is a pet peeve of mine. I poured on a generous helping of syrup, as I prefer to have my syrup with a side of waffle, and let it soak in while I finished my hashbrowns. By the time I moved on to the waffle, it was sweet, sticky, and wonderfully soft. Between bites, the cold glass of milk was refreshing and balanced out the richness from the sugary syrup. As I ate, the waitress kept the counter tidy, clearing plates and leaving my bill on the notepad she had used to take my order. The total came to about $8.25, I left $11 in cash, and the waitress thanked me sincerely, which hinted at the reality of working with a clientele who might not always tip generously.
Overall, my experience at Waffle House was warm, simple, and satisfying. The service was attentive, even when tested by difficult customers. For me, Waffle House is more than just a pit stop during a storm; it is a reminder of how straightforward food and genuine service can create an experience worth revisiting.
