Loved it didn't make it Mile before decided need another plate sauce was awesome

Food bland flies bad and service is terrible it use to be better. Line used to be around the corner, but 3 people were there, so I wonder what they changed it had to have been the cook because of the bland flavor.

I stopped by on the way to Myrtle Beach for vacation and it is worth the trip. I. Ought a BBQ sandwich , beans and 1/2 pound of ribs. All were excellent This is the first time I have had South Carolina style BBQ and it is excellent.

Very good BBQ

Just what I expected and needed. Love the simplicity of the pork sandwich. Flavorful, juicy, and not overly Smokey. Watch the sauce, it has some heat.

It isn't what it was. We had a winter place about half mile down the road for 2013 and 2014. We ate a lot of Rodney's bbq. Unfortunately when we ate there 6/6/25 the pork was not that good, the sides were not very big or very tasty. We did get very large portions of pork, but it wasn't even average. Scott's has always been our benchmark for whole hog bbq, but it ain't what it was.

I watched this place on TV on so many shows. One thing that's the same is GREAT FOOD, AUTHENTIC BBQ.

The ribs were the best I ever had, did not disappoint!

The sauce isn't what it use to be.

Wow! The best BBQ we have ever had! Definitely worth the drive if you are in the Myrtle beach area on vacation. The 3 meat 3 side combo platter had ribs, pulled pork and chicken as well as coleslaw, potato salad and baked beans. We ate there on the outside dining area. It was so much meat that we had leftovers! All 3 meats were so good that we ordered a plate to go to freeze and bring home to CT. We will be back! Scott’s family is making him proud!

Parking: Parking near the building as well as room across the street to fit tractor trailers!

Though the Patriarch and the Matriarch are deceased, and Rodney has delved into other ventures...his Uncle has done an excellent job in keeping the Scotts Barbecue legacy alive and flourishing.
There's still some tweaking that he needs to do to make it his own but I'm sure that will come with time. It's still worth a STOP and a DRIVE-BY... Enjoy ‼️

Parking: Because of an extremely busy highway... leaving can be a hassle but due to the southern hospitality, there's always someone to help you with a smile.☺️

Scotts BBQ at Brunson Crossroads in Hemingway SC is unique. But for slow cooked hickory smoked pork BBQ it is in a category all by itself and can't be beat!
