Anytime I'm going to Charleston, I make the effort to stop here for a meal. It is easily my favorite barbeque restaurant in South Carolina if not both Carolinas and Georgia. The ribs are always delectable, and they always have their sides on point. If you are a foodie and you want an authentic barbeque experience, then this is worth hoping off 95, driving about 20 minutes and eating here. Had their big rib dinner again today and there was so much meat on the ribs and the beans and slaw are so tasty. I am from Oklahoma and have ate at many BBQ places and I have to give the award for the best ribs I've eaten so far in my life Kudos to Sweatmans for the all around great food. 👍👍👍👍👍

Nice touch on a rib and skin being with the plate.
Rice was about 10 minutes short of being done but decent hash. Sauces were OK. Glad we tried it.
