Great food and great prices. I had the chicken liver dinner plate with onion rings, it was so good. The gravy fries and fried mushrooms were good appetizers. Great place to eat for the whole family. Only reason I gave 4 stars is because they only accept cash.

They are one of the only restaurants open on Sunday in Honea Path. They were extremely busy and under staffed. I ordered the daily special from the dry erase board on the wall, it stated meatloaf or chicken, peas, corn, mashed tators, 2 other choices of vegetables. No price was indicated. After taking our order our server returned with our drinks. After 10-14 minutes we got our food, I had ordered the chicken and I was brought a single chicken breast and each vegetable I ordered (small portions). The chicken was dry. I drank my tea and had to wait for a refill. Overall I will drive to a different restaurant in a different town the next time I desire a nice Sunday afternoon meal. If your a privately owned restaurant in a small Southern town and your the only restaurant like that, you should be prepared to handle the crowd...

Loved this place. I have been here several times thru the years, and it is always peasant. The food is great. Try the chicken, bacon and provolone sandwich. I promise it is worth the stop. The people are friendly, kind and patient. The patrons are over local, older folk with a few middle age working class people. Give this place a try the next time you pass thru Honea Path.

For the most part, this is a pretty good place to grab a quick bite. They can do a good job when they put their mind to it.

Small town diner with delicious food. Service can be a little slow but the food is worth the wait! I had the waffle and my husband had the pancakes, both with scrambled eggs both times we’ve went and they have been consistently good both times!

I don't live in Honea Path, but every time I go through there, it's a ritual of mine to stop for the pork chops. If I have time I will sit down and eat. If not, I just get one for the road.
