The most TV's in Charlotte. This has a good menu at great prices and a nice kids menu. We always have a good time and good meal here

My family ate here for my niece's 7th birthday lunch on July 23rd. We enjoyed our experience very much. Our server Debuion was a delight and very attentive. She kept us laughing and by the end of the meal my 3 little nieces were running up to give her goodbye hugs. She also interacted with my brother who has autism and is non-verbal. She spoke directly to him and made him feel like he was part of things; you wouldn't believe how rare that can be! We mostly dined on appetizers as we were heading to the bowling alley shortly after for a pizza party, but all of our food was well prepared and tasty. We'll most likely be back!

Ah, behold, my friends, an enchanting tale of gastronomic adventure at Hickory Tavern! We had journeyed to a new realm of this establishment, which we rarely tread, to join our companions. Normally, the fare brings joy to my heart, for they possess a splendid array of protein options and other healthful delicacies.Yet, lo and behold, on this fateful day, they tempted us with an irresistible offer of 75 cent chicken wings! Alas, I wrestled with the dilemma of choosing a healthier option, but the allure of such a deal was too mighty to resist. Alas, misfortune struck! The wings were overcooked, tough, and devoid of flavor, akin to the fiery breath of a dragon without its might! We sampled the medium, red dragon, and dry rub, but alas, they danced in a monotonous harmony of blandness, causing unanimous dismay amongst our fellowship. Verily, those wings were the foulest to cross my palate in ages. It is a riddle unsolved, for the food here usually pleases.Thankfully, my wife's chicken sandwich brought solace to the realm of her taste buds. A saving grace amidst the winged misfortune. However, let me share yet another grievance that plagues this tavern of hickory. Their craft beer list, bereft of novelty, lacked the adventurous spirit I sought. Aye, it was a collection one could find in the realm's every nook and cranny, rendering it far from enchanting.Despite these woes, I shall not swear off this tavern entirely, for its atmosphere bears the charm of a noble sports bar, adorned with grand TVs throughout. But when next we dine here, the wings shall require careful contemplation, and I shall pray for their culinary redemption!

Great anniversary dinner with exceptional service by Emma F.! The food was flavorful and fresh. We enjoy the atmosphere which could seem loud to some. We had an issue and it was promptly taken care of. We love that our favorite beer, White Zombie, is always on tap!

I ordered a simple burger from this place and the burger and bun was burnt to a crisp. The fries were salted to thr point that I couldn't eat them. I'll never go back and I think it was done on purpose since they recognize my name now. This is the 3rd time my food has been burned. I will not waste another lunch break on this terrible food and the attitude I get f3om the people who hand me my food. Might as well have a Trump banner on the door

I was looking forward to eating and drinking here but unfortunately it's management's practice to force people to wait close to an hour to sit outside as those who want to sit inside. Even though there was 8 empty seats outside and no one was wanting to sit outside. The male employee at the front was extremely rude and dismissive which made me sick to my stomach. This sucks as I enjoyed this establishment but with staff like that, I can't see myself eating here again.

The food and service was good. However the live music was too loud to even attempt to have a conversation. They should have it lower so you aren't yelling at the waiter or your company.

The family and I came here on a Sunday and was seated immediately. The server Will, was awesome had great recommendations and humor. The menu is pretty decent, with specialty burgers, oysters, shrimp and even pasta's. My wife had a prickly pear drink which she says we very tasty. Overall not a bad place and the food and staff was super friendly. Will be back to try one of the specialty burgers. The wings were really good. Very moist and cooked all the way through, we had half Carolina Gold and the other half Caribbean jerk. Both flavors were good.
