Update. Had the brisket plate. With slaw and Onion rings delicious!!Spouse had classic pulled pork,coleslaw and collard greens,onion rings, also very good. Helpful and friendly staff, keep up good work!

Went with a party of 4 looking for baby back ribs but they were out.the waiter offered to call another place to see if they had some and gave us a sample of the regular ribs .we stayed and I had the brisket which was very good.

I AM COMING BACK HERE! Smoked wings in the white bbq sauce, amazing! Those little corn biscuit things are addictive and the bbq was really good. I love the way the corn is seasoned as well. This was my 1st stop when I landed in Charolette.

The waitress was nice but not informed. I don't really like spicy food and was told that everything I ordered would not be spicy.Apparently, every side item (greens, beans, corn) had spicy heat to it...even the corn. I was unable to eat them because of the heat.If you like spicy almost everything, Enjoy!When I said something to the waitress, all I got was a shrug. Perhaps there is a new chef in the kitchen from when she remembers.

We started off with deviled eggs which hit the spot. I got the Mr. Jim combo plate with corn on the cob and potato salad. My two meats were pulled pork and cheddar jalapeno sausage. All the food was very good. The cheddar biscuits were the best part of the meal. Our waitress was very friendly and I will be back in the future. A reservation is suggested as they seem to get busy.Parking: Large lot next to the restaurant.
We came in on a busy Saturday night with a party of 9. We waited for just a few minutes while they prepared our table and the hostess was very busy but very accommodating with our family member who was in a wheelchair. We got sat and were approached by Cooper, our waiter very soon. He was one of the sweetest servers I have seen in a while. We were a big party which can be hard, and we’re not exactly an easy crowd. We were celebrating a birthday as well. He was constantly checking on us, never low on drinks, food was correct and absolutely delish and hot. The staff overall, runners, bussing staff, etc were all super sweet and helpful but our sever, Copper was exceptional. He even forgot a few things (understandably because it was busy) and he apologized. Give this man a bonus!
