They say even bad pizza is good, but this pizza was, unfortunately just... bad.

Tried this spot since it's close and newer. Ordered delivery, Sal's Special and an order of Garlic Knots. The garlic knots are just rolls soaked in garlic butter, which wouldn't be too bad, but the garlic butter was clearly made with canned minced garlic as it tasted raw and oily and off, like the can had gone bad. Wasn't able to finish those.

The pizza was a good size and the toppings were plentiful, but the pizza was extremely greasy, and not in the good way. Every slice was stuck to the parchment in the box, that was soaked through with grease. The crust was so soggy you couldn't even hold it without all of the toppings falling off, and multiple slices had onion peel on it.

The delivery driver said they had to wait 15 minutes after the reported pickup time, and was able to deliver shortly thereafter, so I wonder if the pizza was sitting in the box somewhere in the restaurant. It was the Saturday after a holiday, so maybe they were busy.

Unlikely to try again, will stick with Empire or Lorenzo's for a great local slice.

I love that you can get pizza by the slice or get a whole pie. Always a variety of pizzas to grab a slice if you're on the go. Bacon cheese fries were really good. Employees were very nice as well.

Best pizza in town. So many flavorful options!! Employees were very polite! Building is well kept and clean. I am a big italian food lover and this is my new favorite place, they have great italian pasta dishes, baked dishes, desserts and appetizers as well. Wide spread menu, awesome service.

Were from Ny and haven’t found anything close to a good pizza or any place that I would go back too.
That was untill we tried Sals pizza...
This is the only place that is just as good as NY Brooklyn pizza...
Been to Sals twice so far and going to try something different this weekend.
We have not been disappointed with any of the selection of pizzas.
The only hard part is trying to decide
Which one to choose..
This is my first time reviewing a restaurant because If I have nothing good to say. I won't say anything at all..
The folks are friendly and courtesy.
You can place your order and grab a place to sit and enjoy your meal.
Sals is more of a take out.. Or you can place your order and find a table.
Definitely worth checking out if you want a good slice.

“Stood by their product” After our first time eating at Sal’s our experience wasn’t so great, one of our pizzas was burned on the bottom so bad it was not edible. We called the manager; Alex, and he told us without hesitation that he was sorry for our experience and that we could get another pizza for free made anytime we came back. We had family out for the Thanksgiving vacation and before the upcoming day of the big meal decided to give Sal’s another try. They knocked it out of the park and it was for free as promised.

After multiple tries had to cancel Sal’s. Slow service, overlooked at takeout, quality went to hell.

We ordered two large pizzas for takeout for the first time today. Unfortunately, one was completely black and burned on the bottom.

We ordered the stuffed bbq chicken bacon and the Chicken bacon ranch. The chicken bacon ranch had sour tasting ranch and was not appetizing.

Overall, for $60, I expect much better quality pizza.

The manager did agree to do a credit for the next purchase.

Really disappointed. Pizza crust was soggy and undercooked. Sauce was not good. Ordered specialty pizza as well and equally unimpressive. Very disappointed as had heard good things.
